Our class went to the Stone Zoo on a Wednesday morning. We got a free school ticket to cover our entry. We did it online before we got there, and when we got there was no line. You just have to apply 2 weeks early online for a free school ticket, and then you can either print it out or show it on your phone. We got there around 9:30 am, and the whole parking lot was open and there weren't many people inside the zoo at all.
It was very accessible for our friends in wheelchairs. But it was a little bit hilly, so for people in manual chairs you have to work hard to push them. Because it was becoming winter time, some of the creatures were away for the cold season. Such as the butterflies, the road runner and some of the reptiles. There still felt like a lot to see though.
The customer service was really good at the zoo. We had a zoo employee tell us all about the monkeys. The zoo was very clean, not a lot of trash around. Our favorite parts were the monkeys, the big cats (they came right up to the glass to see us) like the snow leopard and the wolves, and the flamingos. The reptiles were cool, there were many types of frogs. We thought it was really interesting that they had a monkey at the zoo that only had one arm. It was cool to see the way it still moved around so well.

Overall, we felt this trip was both fun, educational, accessible and nature friendly.

Visited for zoo lights. It's a nice annual thing we do. Great if you have little ones. They change it up a little every year. Easy to walk and it is very pretty. One note parking was hard. I had to circle several times to find a spot so go early if you buy tickets for zoo lights cause tickets are for a specific time. Enjoy!

Went on a cool august morning.it was a great couple hours.we were there early before the crowds.the animals were extremely active. I assume because the time of day and weather.
The zoo is very well laid out and easy to navigate.
Great animals and enclosures.
I did not have antsy food. The whole zoo realistically takes about 2 hours, so there's really no need for food or drink.
Zoo entry fees were very fair and reasonable for what you see
Seen a few animals I have never heard of.

Went on a Saturday of end of September. Weather was nice so was expecting animals to show up. This is a fairly small zoo and a rip off for a 22.99 ticket each person for what it has to offer. Many exhibits were no show. The cages with glass viewing were hard to see through due to lack of maintenance/cleanliness of the glasses. Though good enough to kill an hour or so with your kids but quite the average experience overall. Free petting zoo was good, butterfly and flamingo section were the best parts.

Great place to spend a couple hours. The zoo is clean and well maintained. I love the new butterfly exhibit. Docking a star for the quality of the food at the cafe for how much it costs; the grilled chicken sandwich I ordered was literally just a piece of chicken between two buns (and it cost $10 or $11).

I like the zoo here. It's not super fancy but with a visit. If you live by, it's a nice place to be a member and come for a walk. Though some animals may be hard to see. Light Night is pretty, too. Of course, most animals would be sleeping at night but I like the illuminations. Halloween has nice decorations and activities for 3-4 years old. For kids above 5 years old, may be a bit boring.

Great zoo for children 10 and under. Nice walkability with bathrooms, rides, and food stands. Well maintained and friendly staff. Went on Mother's Day so Mom got in free. Affordable prices and convenient pricing and ample free parking. We had a great time with our toddler. Highly recommend. Great experience.
