As a wedding photographer, I recently had the pleasure of shooting a wedding at The State Room Boston and I must say, it is a spectacular space. From the moment you walk in, the breathtaking views of the city and the elegant decor set the tone for a truly magical day.

The venue's spacious floor plan and floor-to-ceiling windows provide ample opportunities for stunning photo ops. The natural light that floods the room is just perfect for capturing those intimate moments between the bride and groom, and the high ceilings allow me to get creative with my angles and shots.

The staff at The State Room Boston is exceptional and always goes above and beyond to ensure that everything runs smoothly. They are always on hand to answer any questions or concerns, and their attention to detail is unmatched. This level of professionalism and customer service truly sets the venue apart and makes my job as a wedding photographer much easier.

And let's not forget about the food! The catering team at The State Room Boston consistently serves up delicious meals that are both beautiful and tasty. This, combined with the venue's excellent service and elegant atmosphere, makes it easy to understand why it’s one of Boston’s most sought after venues.

This venue is just absolute perfection & our coordinator Amber was a dream come true. She went above & beyond to make our day amazing; when things weren’t done to her standards or what she thinks I would want, she worked quickly to fix them, never needing to let me know there was even an issue to begin with so I could just focus on the day. Our food was AMAZING, the bar staff was fantastic, & the space was to die for. We will never be able to thank Amber or State Room/Longwood Venues for helping to make our day so memorable!

As a wedding photographer, you cannot beat the State Room for so many reasons! It has the absolute best views in Boston. The Longwood team is always completely helpful and friendly the entire wedding day. Plus, the food is amazing. Most of all, I love seeing the reactions of the guests when they first come into the room. Their jaws hit the floor and you can hear an audible "wow!" from everyone that enters. Such a perfect Boston wedding venue!

The venue is beautiful and the service is fantastic. Parking is decently priced and the 2 floor venue works really well. The views are absolutely gorgeous. Day and night. The food was a little bland, but I am told that was because of the planner's food options.

My wife and I had our reception at the State Room June 2024! It was a dream come true and the team lead by Jenna was phenomenal. Jenna worked with us hand in hand throughout the process even helping me keep a surprise guest from my (now wife) a secret the entire time of the planning process! Eddie and Daniele were apart of our day of team and they were amazing, from attention to detail, to services provided for me and my wife throughout the entire night! I cannot recommend this venue enough and if you get lucky enough to work with Jenna, Eddie, and Daniele, know you are in great hands!
