Star Hansen is an absolutely phenomenal event planner. She went above and beyond to give my husband and I our dream wedding on the 4th of September at Greystone mansion and gardens. Our wedding was even better than I could have ever possibly imagined it and I attribute this to her. She has a tremendous knowledge base and her expertise was very valuable. I went into wedding planning not knowing if I needed a full service event planner but this was by far the best money I spent on our big day. Star brought a lot to the table because of her experience so she knew how to properly execute the ideas and I am absolutely positive I would have side stepped without her. She deeply cares to make your day what you want it to be so she listens to you and gets to know you and your vision and then enables you through her expertise and vast network of professional vendors to bring your vision to life. Star is very responsive via email and phone. You will have no trouble getting a hold of Star. She was always available to schedule a call within a day when I needed to hop on the phone with her. She was extremely respectful of our budget and enabled us to stay within it. It’s very difficult to do this on your own because there are a lot of numbers you do not think about or have any basis to know what kind of figure it will be when you first go into wedding planning. She guided us to make sure we stayed well within our budget which was so awesome. I was completely relaxed and was able to enjoy my own wedding because I knew Star was on top of everything. She is incredibly organized and as you get to know her through the planning process you will understand her to be more than competent and very well organized, she literally thinks of everything, so you will be able to relax and enjoy your wedding which is really the invaluable aspect of hiring Star. I cannot say enough great things about Star or recommend her enough because she really is a spectacular event planner. I will be referring her to anybody and everybody planning an event from now on. All I can say is you will not regret hiring Star Hansen.

Star Hansen is AMAZING. Our wedding day was so magical and perfect in every way, and Star was a huge part of it. Since our venue was Cielo Farms, we had to bring in everything. Star was 100% on top of every vendor, timeline, meeting, contract to make our day run smoothly. She always responded to emails right away and made every aspect of the wedding planning so easy and efficient. She is incredibly dependable, reliable, honest, and her attention to detail is incredible. She always answered our questions thoroughly and honestly and helped in any way she could. Even though we were in the middle of the busiest wedding season, she always made each of her brides top priority. Without Star our wedding wouldn't have been close to what it turned out to be. Her team was super on point and efficient as well, really hardworking! We are so lucky that we chose to trust Star to help us plan the best day of our lives! We don't even know where to begin! My mother beat me to the punch with her review. First Star is the absolute sweetest! I had talked to a few wedding planners when starting out as soon as we talked to Star on the phone we felt a sigh of relief, she was professional, honest, sweet, and ready to take on the role. It is so important to vibe with someone who will be working along side of you for the biggest day of your life. Her recommendations of vendors were spot on, they were all so lovely to work with!

Our wedding day was a DREAM! From start to finish, the entire day was completely seamless from our perspective. Star and her team seemed to always be available at the perfect time for easy questions or to calm our nerves. Every detail on the day was planned with such perfection that we were able to focus on enjoying our day and the logistics were all taken care of by her team. From our perspective, and our guests, the entire event was orchestrated and executed with flawless precision. Star and her team (also super sweet) were on the ball every moment of the day.

We would do the day all over again and we would recommend Star and her team over and over. We truly had the best time with her, the day/night was absolutely beautiful and was a true fairytale wedding.

I don't think I could ever put into words how incredible Star was in helping us plan and execute our dream wedding. We were planning a wedding across the country and she was able to make the process fun, easy, and most importantly, stress-free! As someone who was never able to put into words how I wanted my wedding to look, she was able to extract random thoughts I had and create our dream day. From the very beginning, she was actively involved in helping us pick our wedding vendors, giving us her opinion when needed, but never trying to convince us of something one way or another. She respected the overall budget we had in mind and never tried to sway us away from that. To really show how dedicated Star is to her brides and grooms, she welcomed a beautiful baby boy 3 weeks before our wedding, and was STILL actively involved in making sure all the final pieces were in place prior to our big day. It was above and beyond and so appreciated! Her team (SHE Babes) is also phenomenal at what they do. They made sure the entire wedding from beginning to end went perfectly! I cannot rave enough about my entire experience with Star and her team! You CANNOT go wrong with having her plan your big day! Working with her for 14 months leading up to the big day was the best decision I ever made (besides marrying my husband:) ).

I truly don’t even know where to begin to describe the appreciation I have for Star and how grateful I feel that we were able to have her as our wedding coordinator! I really feel like I could write a novel describing how she and her team are above and beyond in every aspect of wedding planning. People would ask me often if I felt stressed about the wedding and planning process, and, even in the midst of planning during COVID, I could honestly say that I felt so stress-free because of Star and her care and support. She somehow manages to be so incredibly kindhearted, warm, and genuine, while also being amazingly attentive to detail, on top of it, and organized. I don’t know how she does it all, but she has such a gift for what she does and I can’t imagine working with anyone else!

From my very first phone conversation with Star to our actual wedding date, and even now after, she has been absolutely wonderful in every way. I don’t even know how many times my family and I would say to one another that we felt like we won the lottery with Star! From the very beginning, it was so easy and clear to see how caring and thoughtful Star is and how much it means to her to bring the dreams of your wedding day to life. She has a gift of being able to take your ideas, personality, style, etc. and turn them all into one cohesive vision for your wedding day. Not only does she have an eye for aesthetic and design (everything she touches is simply beautiful!), but she is also so knowledgeable about the logistics of wedding planning and all of the tiny decisions and details that need to be sorted out, especially the ones that could potentially feel stressful! One of the things I admire most about her is how she was always able to make us feel included and heard in every little decision, but also would help steer us when we felt lost about certain details! She has the best insight and advice and will NEVER steer you wrong!

Star is simply amazing, and, the more we went along in the wedding planning process, it was also so easy to see how respected and adored she is in the wedding industry. Everyone who knows her loves her and loves working with her, and it’s amazing to have someone like that as a part of your wedding day! Not only was she wonderful, but she also helped us put together a whole team of vendors that we absolutely loved. It was a dream team!

We couldn’t more highly recommend Star! She is the best in every way. I honestly wish I could get married all over again just to work with her again! I already miss having the excuse of being in touch with her regularly and will forever be grateful to have had her as our wedding coordinator and now friend. We love you, Star!!

Wedding Perfection
Star, Kelly and the entire Star Hansen Event’s team were truly amazing in planning and implementing my daughter’s wedding. It was wedding day perfection. My daughter lives on the east coast and wanted her wedding to be in Southern California, where she grew up. A Malibu wedding could have been a stressful adventure, especially for the novice mother of the bride, me, if not for the Star and her team. Star and Kelly were delightful to work with and were always available to answer our questions and concerns. I was continually amazed at their prompt responses to our emails, texts or phone calls. Star is incredibly organized. She was able to coordinate meetings with vendors when my daughter was in town and kept us on schedule with all the small details that could have fall by the wayside. Her valuable experience and artistry brilliantly guided us through many decisions. My daughter’s wedding day was stress-free and an absolutely gorgeous, joyous event where we were all able to enjoy every beautiful moment. We highly recommend Star Hansen Events!!!

Simply said, Star is an AMAZING wedding planner! I don’t know what I would have done without Star to plan our destination wedding in Malibu.

Star’s work, style, designs are gorgeous and impressive just looking at her website; but I was really intrigued to work with her because she was great at understanding and articulating the images that I wanted and randomly expressed, asked great question (that a bride-to-be may not have thought about) that helped me to think through what I needed to consider in the planning stages while also being very detailed-oriented and having great time management skills. She helped me to be well-prepared before the wedding, not having to deal with unnecessary stress right before the wedding which we were truly grateful for.

She was also very caring, thoughtful and flexible in accommodating our needs. A week prior to our wedding, we ran into a situation that would not allow us to attend our own wedding. Although we had carefully planned the wedding for 10 months, Star was able to lead all the vendors to re-plan every detail of our wedding to create a special virtual ceremony where we could be part of the wedding from overseas. She came up with the most creative ideas we thought we may not be able to pull off 2 days prior to our wedding and made it all happen!

She went above and beyond to make it most special and memorable for us which we can’t be more grateful for!!

She is not just a wedding planner; but truly an individual who cares from her heart, for all of the couples she works with, to make each wedding unique and most special for the couple♡

The best event coordinator is Star Hansen for all events!!! She is a lovely and caring person, who is attentive to all the details of making your special day, seamless with how well organized she is. We recently hired Star to coordinate our daughter's wedding, she was there at every turn with her professional experience and knowledge, list of task, questionnaires and precise timeline, keeping the wedding and vendors, all on schedule.
