Really nice and peaceful. Beautifulness as far as the eyes can see. Courteous Park Rangers, and very helpful too. Definitely recommend going here to get a piece of mind.

Beautiful
Consider myself blessed to live this close to the Mississippi River and in the middle of a national park.
St Francis national park has provided me years and years of memories. Where we rode on the weekends just to see what we could see and watch the wildlife. Where we drove our kids to show them about deer and animals and life in the woods.
It's where my best friend and I bonded as he taught me so much about the woods before respecting the land.
I camped out here I have temporarily stayed out here it is truly covered in wildlife so beware.
But usually I spend my time fishing here in the many different places to fish they're all loaded with fish it's a great area for fishing catfish and crappie fishing in Bear Creek lake or storm Creek lake
Or one of the many ponds in between.
They've got a beautiful visiting area they've got many sites to see
If you're not from this part of country it's absolutely breathtaking with the trees changing in the fall and sprouting in the spring there's always something to catch your eye.
It's a wonderful place to take pictures in any season is backdrop is surely the satisfy all your needs for family portraits or Christmas pictures or seen your pictures or baby pictures even wedding pictures beautiful backdrop.

I grew up in these woods. The facilities have been upgraded significantly since my childhood at Bear Creek Lake and at Storm Creek Lake. I’ve done excellently cat-fishing both waters. I love crappie hunting Storm Creek. Even if you’re not an angler, the roads will take you through some beautiful forest.

I love storm creek. Too much has changed though. Wish we could camp at the Mouth and fish all night like the good ol days with campfires and a good cold one. All of that is a thing of the past now. Costs too much to camp at the campgrounds but its nice to look at =)

Its a beautiful to go for a relaxing drive. The high road takes you thru the hills. The low road follows the river flood plains. Two large lakes with both rustic and modern camping.

B E A Utiful! Excellent lake and camping and RV areas! Hot showers that never run out of hot water and if you don't catch your limit of fish at this lake then it's you own fault! Top Notch!

Quiet, peaceful with a state park camping area with full hook-ups on a small pennisula. Beautiful lake for kayaking or fishing. No boats with motors larger than 10 hp.OK
