An ironing board so small, suitable only for the clothes of a Lilliputian. Also, I had to have 3 iron replacements as two of them would stop working halfway through a shirt. Bizarre. Would just lose heat. Really fun, in a hurry. ||||No safe. Therefore I would not allow cleaning staff in during my stay there, having had things stolen from me by staff at other hotels. No safe?!?!||||Breakfast was a crap shoot. Waffles with no maple syrup one day, no orange juice the next. ||||No bottled water in the vending machines. Almost nothing in the vending machines UNLESS you were lucky enough to be there when they restocked them. Which I was only once. Ie too small a vending machine for the number of guests. ||||The gym consists of 4 ellipticals plus some dumbells. The pool is pointless. Laps would take 2 seconds. ||||The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Forget walking anywhere. It's a 40 minute drive to central Austin.||||When I arrived, there was a half used lavatory roll and one spare under the sink. Ie the previous guest had not used the entire roll. I've never seen that before anywhere. Poor form. ||||NEVER AGAIN

Overall wonderful service. Rooms were nice. Didn't love the pillows but that's standard at Fairfields and Springhills. Breakfast was great! Friendly staff and that's why I wanted to write this review. We almost didn't stay here due to reviews but we had a great experience. We spend 50 plus nights in hotels a year.

Genuine, top-notch hospitality. Attentive staff (from Isaiah at the front desk, to GM Art and Grace in Sales, and more), remember guests and preferences. They seamlessly take care of what’s needed. Excellent housekeeping and house-made entrees at breakfast. So great, we extended our stay an extra two weeks.

I came for an overnight business trip, and it was a pleasant place to stay. The rooms were clean and generally don't have any complaints. The only criticism I have is that the walls are paper thin and the bed I got needed to be replaced. The mattress was sloped like everyone slept on the left side of the bed, and it was worn out. But all and all I would start here again.

Very, very poor management. The facility is new and from that standpoint nice by Marriott standards. The “free” breakfast is worth absolutely nothing and is not restocked. There is a shrill tv going in the morning that will put your teeth on edge. ||Stay anyplace but here. They got an extra star for having nice sheets.

Overall really great stay! Very clean, breakfast is surprisingly great with many good options. Hotel is quiet, very clean and smells wonderful.

Stayed a night and on my way out I did not realize I had left my watercolor paintings behind. Gladly when I called the front desk they had still not cleaned my room and Vanessa was so kind to rescue my pictures. Thank you so much for showing what hospitality and caring is all about in the hill country! Indeed, there is a heart in Texas!

The hotel and staff are fantastic. I am a huge fan of Isaiah and Sara. Both are classy individuals, Isaiah helped my husband and I navigate the city and coordinate meals and shopping. He deserves a raise!
