I have been to a few different physical therapy facilities in my past and I have to say Sports Ortho of Lake Forest is a cut above! I recently had surgery to repair my meniscus. The therapists (Pam, Sara, and Ricky) are very knowledgeable on the required therapy to help me heal and strengthen my knee and legs. They are very focused on making sure I do everything correctly and prevent any further injuries. Overall, the staff is very caring! The facility is conveniently located, easy parking and very clean. I highly recommend it.

The thought of an injury or going to therapy can be scary to begin with especially if your problem/injury affects your daily activities and functioning. You are trusting a organization with your life and returning back to your daily routines. I had heard about sports and ortho and rehab through a friend of mine and had decided to give it a shot. As soon as I walked through the doors I knew there was something different about this location and place. Their philosophy on therapy and dynamics of getting better was something I have never experienced before. I had previous injuries before and have been to many physical therapy locations but this was different. They have a two part component to the therapy which involves the manual component and the strengthening component. They make sure to address the issue at hand as well as any factors that could be affecting the problem area. I primarily was being seen by Sara and Cole at times. They were both awesome and would clearly explain what they are doing prior to starting anything. They would continue to explain things you could do to help bring change and keep the positive gains. Sara and Cole would always check in prior to starting to see where I was at before so they could make improvements by the time I left. They were always present with a positive attitude and all smiles. It felt like you were in a magical kingdom or like a candy shop. They would engage in professional conversations as well as current events creating an environment to nurture and get better through all aspects. They also have a great tech Ricky that would be so attentive and energetic that you would want to push yourself to work harder. He provided a positive nurturing aura that would have you feeling like a welted flower that was pumped with energy. Along with the staff, the location was very clean and they use the best and healthy hygienic habits when it comes to patient care. On top of all of this, they play such a variety of great music you just want to break out in dance or song and be uplifted. They ended up being a family away from home that you end looking forward to instead of dreading when you think of therapy sometimes. It's like eating your favorite food with a burst of taste that you don't want to end. Overall, the company is amazing in the treatment they provide and I was suprised I didn't hear of them before. I would highly recommend them for any physical therapy needs, preventative measures, or even to get an evaluation to see everything is working the way it should be.

My surgeon highly recommended this facility after my double mastectomy. I worked with Sara and she was outstanding. Because she’s been trained specifically for this type of surgery, she was able to help my healing process. She also worked on my neck and leg (unrelated issues) by doing dry needling and this procedure worked! My issues are almost gone! Also, the guys that are working there along side the Physical Therapists are fabulous. They are professional and patient with you. I give them all a 10!!!

What a great team at the Lake Forest location. I worked with all of the staff over 3 months to address knee pain following a year earlier meniscus trim. I was referred by Dr. Brian Cole's staff at Rush. Dry needling was the key to my situation. It, combined with well-targeted stretching, alleviated virtually all of my pain. Thankfully, no additional surgery was needed. I finished therapy several weeks ago and continued to be pain free thanks to the at home regimen prescribed. Super nice, caring people...and wizards at helping me. Thank you, Sara, Ali & Ricky!

I have been working with Sara and Ricky for about a month. They have been amazing. Sara listens to my concerns and works with me to strengthen my leg. I am 9 months after a ruptured quad tendon they have been working with me to get me back into athletic form. Today I jogged for the first time in 9 months. My leg feels strong and stable. Thanks to Sara and Ricky.

Prior to starting PT with Tina, I felt like my back would never get better. I injured my back as a gymnast in 2019, I had seen several doctors, chiropractors, and PTs, I had injections, acupuncture, e-stim, every treatment you could think of. When it was recommended that I see Tina in 2023, I was skeptical anything would improve, but I am so glad I gave her a chance. The sense of relief I feel, not just physically, but mentally was worth the wait to work with her. I feel like I don’t have to adjust my life around my back pain anymore.

I was introduced to Sports and Ortho PT as a strong recommendations after mastectomy from my team of doctors, PAs and NPs. Also, from former friends and patients. I wish I would have started sooner with them post surgery. Sara and Dahlia have been instrumental in my care. They are great at what they do and have helped me regain my range of motion, helped with healing wounds, and regaining strength in my core. They are professional, knowledgeable and spend a good 60-90 minutes per session. They have truly helped me in ways I thought were not possible. I feel empowered with them on my side.

Sara is a super efficient and effective therapist. I had amazing results in a short amount of time. Ricky, the assistant technician was also very helpful. Very friendly atmosphere.
