Jonathan Colliflower and the entire team at Splendid Events are absolutely outstanding and a joy to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. We had an absolutely beautiful wedding that everyone loved, and we were able to relax and enjoy our day confident that everything, down to the very last detail was taken care of. Jonathan was super responsive and always willing to share cost-saving tips with me. He genuinely listened to our needs and worked with us and our budget to create a perfect event. Three weeks before the wedding my father passed away unexpectedly - I did not have to worry; Jonathan made sure everything for the wedding was handled. The reception hall looked amazing - Jonathan went above and beyond my expectations with lots of little design touches. He and his staff are the very best!

Splendid Events truly lives up to its name! Jonathan and his incredible team recently coordinated my engagement party, and I cannot say enough good things about the entire experience. As someone who is extremely Type A and detail-oriented, I was nervous about handing over control of such an important event—but Jonathan completely blew me away.

From the start, he was attentive, organized, and somehow even more detail-focused than I am (which says a lot!). He listened carefully to what I envisioned, worked seamlessly with my family and our budget, and turned it into something beyond what I could have hoped for.

I also have to give a huge shoutout to his team—they were absolute pros. I dropped off a bunch of random decor pieces with no real plan, and they turned it into something magical. The setup was beautiful, thoughtful, and totally Pinterest-worthy.

Guests raved about the whole event. Drinks were flowing, service was quick and friendly, and the food was hot and served right on time. Every moving part worked perfectly, and it was clear that this is a team of true professionals.

If you're looking for someone who will treat your event like it's their own, handle every detail with care, and make the entire experience stress-free and fabulous—Jonathan is your person. I can’t recommend Splendid Events enough!

I had my wedding September 2024 and I can’t thank Veronica and her assistant enough. She is so kind and patient which is something you would want in a coordinator when everything feels so fast paced and busy. Once wedding planning begins, there’s going to be so many little things that requires your attention and amongst that will be retrieving certificate of insurance from your vendors and sending it to the venues. It seems like an easy task but I sure was glad it was one less thing I had to do thanks to Veronica. My venue had a more strict guideline on what was expected from vendors and she was really patient while handling that weeks before to ensure everything could go as smooth as possible. My bridesmaid also mentioned to me on the side that she was so sweet and honestly, she was. After my ceremony, I came to her to ask if she had a bandaid or something to help me with my dress because the boning structure was irritating my skin. She had it in her case and quickly helped me put a bandaid and padding there. It felt so much better instantly! Then my bustle acted up and she quickly bustled it with safety pins. You couldn’t even notice that it was done with safety pins! Thank goodness for Veronica. With Splendid Events, I never felt pressured into using any services that they provided and they happily coordinated with other vendors that I chose. She recognized that I had a budget I wanted to stay under and was very understanding about everything. Thank you to Veronica, her assistant, and the movers on my wedding day!

Jonathan Colliflower was the day of coordinator for our wedding on 10/21/23. He was absolutely incredible!!! We could not be more pleased with how great of a job he did. From our very first meeting, he was so helpful and knowledgeable, and it made us feel so much more at ease with the planning process. In the weeks leading up to our wedding he was very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had or provide support in any way that he could. On the day of our wedding, he was an absolute lifesaver!!! Jonathan is the reason our day ran so smoothly, because he was so on top of everything. His staff were all very professional and helpful. The bartenders he provided were so nice and very fast at making drinks. 10/10 recommend that you choose Jonathan as your wedding coordinator. Jonathan was on top of everything (at least everything I let him do - I wanted to do much of the planning myself!)
He organized all of my vendors and expertly directed the set up of the room, which turned out better that I could have imagined. His staff was terrific, especially the bar staff that improvised when we ran out of whiskey for the old fashioneds. Splendid Events is a top notch event planning company that I would recommend to anyone!

Jonathan, Veronica, and their team was highly recommended by The Woman’s Club at Laguna Beach for the 150-person event we held there, and we are so grateful for their guidance in planning and executing our event. They made planning a breeze, sourced all of our rentals on our behalf (furniture, bars, tableware, linens, heaters, lighting, etc) and they organized the most friendly and professional waitstaff and bartenders for the event.
