I would say they are experts in many areas of diving. Also no better place to buy gear as they will encourage you to try anything they sell in their on site indoor pool before you buy it.

I got certified on 09/17/2023. Southern Skin Divers is a great dive shop. Great people all around and extensive knowledge about diving. I love supporting my dive shop especially in concerns to my gear because I get the best price without breaking the bank. I can't wait until my Nitrox class in January.

We certified with them approx. 3 years ago. They did an amazing job helping with my wife who had major struggles with another group when trying to certify (now she has over 50 dives). Mark, Spencer and Forrest were awesome in helping us all learn how to dive. Their preparation and focus on safety has made it where thus far we haven't encountered anything we felt unprepared for.

That combined with their unprecedented customer service both in shop and on their trips, makes us proud to call them our "home" diving shop.

Highly recommend! Came in for a trial diving class to see if it was something my wife and I wanted to pursue and we were able to meet the staff and look at their facility. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable, and Mark did a great job introducing us to the basics. We are looking forward to getting certified!

Purchased the new Apeks Exotec BC. I received helpful service and advice with my purchase. This type of dive gear is best purchased from a dive shop when you can actually feel, see and try on the equipment that you depend on.

Great shop with a great selection of gear, and a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. All of their training ciriculums are top notch, and they offer trips pretty much every weekend during the dive season. There’s a reason they’re the second oldest dive shop in the U.S.
