Positive: The room was clean and the hotel staff were very helpful. Negative: My stay was not enjoyable due to the overwhelming smell of marijuana smell that greeted you right as you came off the elevator and through the hallway. I informed the hotel staff, but I was told that there was not much that they could do.

Positive: Front desk staff was very pleasant and welcomimg when I arrived. Very quiet during the night and in the morning. Negative: The floor could have been vacumed a little better. There was debris around the edge of the bed.

Positive: The room was cozy and comfortable Negative: FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!! One of the main reasons for booking this hotel was because the amenities mentioned a restaurant and bar with a lounge. THE RESTAURANT AND BAR CLOSED 4 MONTHS AGO!! THEY NEED TO UPDATE WEBSITE. No balcony light and broken lock

Hotel is overpriced. I expect a higher level of cleanliness, amenities and service at this price. There was no coffee in the lobby on Saturday morning at 8:30 AM so we walked across to Dunkin. The lobby coffee is also not complimentary. The air conditioner in our room was not working well. Carpet was stained and there was a bug in the bathroom. For this price I would expect more.

Positive: The pool was never open which the sign said it was . The room was out- of -date and there were stains in the bathroom and on some of the furniture I would not recommend this hotel. Negative: The staff weren?t very friendly.

I would definitely highly recommend Sonesta Select Newark- Christiana Mall, Delaware. I had a wonderful stay.. very pleasant. The Guest Services and staff are the best.. friendly, professional, accommodating and very comfortable.. they made me feel very welcomed and at ease. The room was great.. very clean which is not something I say often or at all. When I walked in the first time and every time afterwards for 3 days it had a very fresh smell. Bed was really comfortable, nice pillows. Room was well stocked. The whole place was clean.. nice fitness room, guest laundry area, lobby and guest TV viewing area really nice to not feel confined to my room, indoor pool was great as well as the courtyard garden area with a fire pit. Plenty of parking well lit. Quiet and peaceful throughout. Well maintained. On checkout day I experience a medical emergency in the parking lot and my boyfriend without thought rushed me to the ER where I was admitted. Meanwhile all of my belongings were in the lobby area of the hotel, including my purse. The hotel staff unaware of what happened, secured my personal belongings in a locked area. Not knowing still anything of my whereabouts showed extreme courtesy and I can't thank them enough for the care and consideration without question that was given on my behalf. Their hospitality and respect for their guests is admirable !

This is an overpriced cheap motel located next to a maze of freeways. I can only assume many of the reviews here are fake. Door lock got stuck (also mentioned by another reviewer). Shampoo bottle was empty. Room was dated, dirty carpets, hardly any outlets. Bed was good and clean. Just go directly to a cheap motel for half the price.
