I am so sick with the lack of care at this place. Since the gym moved downstairs I have not been able to get in with my key. Leasing office keeps saying the door needs to be fixed but nothing is fixed. went back to the office after Thursday which was the day when it was supposed to be fixed and of course nothing. I wanted to go in today but of course nothing works, no security guard to ask to let in which is what I was told to do. oh and of course the door on Ralph McGill has been broken for months now but who cares am I right

Anything that could go wrong has at #SkylineATL
The culture of the property is to overcharge tenets anyway they can.

They charge $50 for gated parking even though the gates are always broken and Cars are constantly broken into inside the property and on the streets that surround the property.

Rules of where guests can park change depending on new management and they blame it on the parking vendor.

Any visitors have to pay and park in an area they always break into cars.

Most of the exterior doors are broken and bent. Homeless people are always sleeping in hallways and by elevators and walk through hallways trying to open doors.

Amazon packages are often left outside of locker and are always stolen.

The valet trash system is broken the hallways reeks of trash and urine. Roaches are always present, you see them in your apartment, the hallways, even in the leasing office. I’ve seen dog feces in hallways and in parking garage.

There were multiple shootings inside the parking deck and participants who were getting shot at almost hit a lady and her daughter trying to get away. Along with the occasional drug raid.

Oh and the new management posts FAKE 5-Star reviews to bring up the rating. Because no one who lives here would say those things

….they might be worst than the previous management company

Avoid this property at all cost

Before I get started
the a/c constantly goes out and I am left 1-2 days waiting on it to be resolved .also could do better with pests and cleaning in the hallways .

My whole experience from the time of applying has been very misleading and stressful. I was told when I moved in during the conversation I had with Nathan over the phone that there was a moving special in the first few months would be free. Every month I checked to make sure that the rent said paid and it showed that a credit was applied as a concession. Fast-forward to September. I received a message showing that there was a large balance owed, and when I clicked on the link, it stated that the concession was a mistake. After that, I called and spoke with management in regards to the situation and let them know that I was unaware that the credits were a mistake and I was told that the first few months will be free to see if any type of compensation to be made due to it being an extremely large amount that I did not plan to pay because I just came off of medical leave and had I known that I would be facing this large amount owed I would not have went , although I needed to.I was told that no compromise would be made since my lease stated that only the six weeks were free. however that was done under distress. I had already had movers that I had paid for their time here and ready to move my things into the apartment and had no other choice. Also, I did not realize that that had changed and I would no longer be getting a certain amount of time free that was the reason why I signed a 15 month lease . When I initially applied, I applied for a one bedroom apartment and it was on the fourth floor, however, after realizing that the apartment came with black furnishing for the appliances, I reached out to leasing agent With concerns of wanting a more updated apartment , Specifically the one that I saw on the website with the white countertops. The leasing agent then switched my apartment with the approval of the property manager. I was unable to do a walk-through before hand because as I told them I was coming from out of town. I have been staying in Alabama for the past few months. When I came to move in my things and signed the lease on moving day, I went to the apartment and realized that not only was the apartment, not as shown in the pictures online as I requested, it also had a Horrible view. At that time the property manager did decide to go ahead and apologize and allow me to move into another apartment that was available. I was extremely upset because not only did I not get the apartment that I thought I would be getting and I was really specific about what I want, But also, my price had went up from what I originally planned to pay which was 1500 to now paying 1800 for a one bedroom. I advised that I was not happy, but I will take the apartment as I had movers waiting For me. Cristelle did let me know that as soon as I saw another apartment that I wanted become available I could message her and change with ease which I really appreciate it so I accepted the apartment. With all that being said, I am a kidney transplant Patient and I do my best to stay away from stress however I feel that I am being very much taken advantage of and I can no longer accept it. I offered to pay $4000 this week to keep the apartment from being put up for an eviction, but at this point, I feel as though I need to take on the stress and fight for what I feel is right.

This place is an entire mess from management to the residents. I saw they finally got past 2 stars but that’s because people are leaving reviews for Skyline Park (the Ponce City Market rooftop). LOL
I was so ready to leave this place I almost didn’t leave a review. A few things to consider:

- Every floor smells like dog pee and piss
- The doors leading to Piedmont Ave have been broken for so long and homeless people enter into the building to use the stairwell as a bathroom
- Management sucks. They are unresponsive and I currently have a fraud case open with their management corporate office (beware of this if you apply and give these people your social and other sensitive information)

And lastly - Kevin and Christina at the front desk are extremely rude, unprofessional, and ignorant. I would not recommend this place or any other properties managed by RPM Living.

UPDATE 1/7/2025:

Adding here that they are claiming that I was "not a resident" when I literally had to file a police report about them last week because they refuse to remove my resident information from their database even though I completed all of my paperwork to move out a year ago. PLEASE LIVE ANYWHERE ELSE.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I think this one is deserving. I would like to give a huge THANK YOU to Henry! From the start of my application to currently, Henry was a breath of fresh air to work with. Henry is so professional and helpful. Even when I was frazzled, his assurance soothe it all. I admire his calmness and able to multitask while handling a lot of task. Henry is one of a kind! Always greeted with a smile and positivity! I appreciate his ability to communicate and follow up. Henry didn’t miss a beat when it came to everything I needed. Good help is so rare to find, and he proved that there are still good people who genuinely care. He has restored my faith in humanity. Great job Henry! This world need more people like Henry!

I have lived on this property for a little more than 2 years. Management has changed approximately three times since I've lived here. But kudos to the current management team who has worked to resolve some of the past problems as well as do some upgrades to the property. They have repaired the inside doors replace carpets and lights improving the overall appearance of the interiors. Maintenance has also improved with their response time to maintenance request. I still have two areas of concern which are paid parking for guests which I find a bit ludicrous and off-putting. Additionally the pedestrian interest on the Ralph McGill side of the building in which the door keeps getting broken. Previously there was a glass door there now they have it boarded up. If you want to exit or enter the building as someone who lives here who doesn't drive you have to walk halfway around the block to find a way in. To a non-driver this is very very inconvenient. Please please management put a solid rigid door on the Ralph McGill side of the building once and for all! This is not hard! And please do not take forever to do this, the last time the store was broken for about 4 through 5 months. This property has an opportunity to to be better!

Edit: pest control came yesterday 11/15 12pm to spray.
Its 11/16 and i just woke up to a roach crawling on me. Im out of here!

Is anyone else here having roach problems? I signed my lease in April but moved in in May and have been having roach problems since JUNE! The complex has sent pest control out 3 times so far and still roaches. I have complained and asked to be transferred to another unit i was told to give them 30 days and to pack my belongings up into boxes. Okay fine. My belongings were packed 2 weeks and noone came so i purchased my own pest control to come out and spray. I still have roaches! I decided to literally cover my apartment in roach butter and boric acid. Like literally my entire floor is covered in white powder right now. I left for 4 days and i am not kidding it is 2am 11/11/24 right now and i just walked into my apartment to roaches running around in the powder. Like what type of crackhead super demon roaches live here? I have tried to stick it out but i can no longer do it. It is impossible to have company here without a roach running on the couch. This will be my last month with skyline.

This apartment has been owned by a lot of different property management companies while I have lived here, and the current one has been the only good one. They have replaced the carpets in the hallways, painted the walls, replaced the lights in the hallways, fixed the gates, fixed the doors, and are continuing to make more improvements. The manager Crystalle is very kind, and she is the first property manager who doesn't try to squeeze every penny out of the tenants. If you asked me 6-months ago I would have given this place 1 star but this place is improving quickly thanks to the new management company. So I think 5 stars is well deserved.
