I’ve had the pleasure of being a main and second photographer for a few weddings at Skylight 828 in Denver, and every experience has been so unique to each couple. It’s such a fun venue to work at because you can truly watch the space transform into whatever you and your partner envision. Whether you're looking for a modern, industrial vibe or something more personalized, Skylight gives you the freedom to make it your own. The staff is also super friendly and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better.

If you’re looking for an urban feel to your day, this is definitely a spot to consider. Plus, there are some awesome murals nearby that make for perfect photo backdrops! Whether you’re booking it for both the ceremony and reception or just one part of your day, it’s such a great central location in Denver. I had one couple who hosted their ceremony at Red Rocks Trading Post in Morrison and then had their cocktail hour and reception at Skylight. It was the perfect balance of mountain views and city vibes—truly showcasing the best of what Denver has to offer! Would love to photograph another wedding here again soon!

We had our wedding here 9/16/22! Everyone still talks about how beautiful it was and how smooth everything went. Erin was great when our sub DJ was not, and the guest didn’t realize the issues we had because of her help. The process with them was easy always responded quickly. Highly recommend!

We recently had our wedding at Skylight, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! The venue perfectly matched our style, providing a beautiful backdrop that felt uniquely ours.

What we loved most was the level of customization available. From the decor to the layout, we were able to tailor every detail to fit our vision, making our day truly special. Erin and the rest of the staff was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process and on the big day itself. They went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy the celebration.

We had our wedding here in June and it was perfect! Our planner Erin, understood our vision from day one and absolutely executed it. My husband and I didn’t have a single moment of stress on our day. Clay, the bar manager was great as well! Clay and the bartenders made sure the guests were well taken care of. If I were to redo our wedding I wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you Skylight!!!

I toured SKYLIGHT for my wedding and attended an open house event there - I didn't end up choosing this venue for my wedding, only because I found something that was a little better fit for my needs, but I just want to shout out the venue manager, Jill.

Jill was absolutely lovely and phenomenal with communication. She went above and beyond to help me with a vendor she recommended even though I didn't move forward with her space.

The space is really cool - I had a hard time visualizing an event there because it's so big and open, but when I attended an event there and saw it all decked out, I realized you could do SO much with it! It's clean, tidy, has a cool bar, and a cute outdoor area. Great space in a fun location and LOVE JILL!!! She is an angel!

We hosted our disco wedding at skylight and it was the perfect venue for us. A key selling point for us was the flexibility of the venue and the ability to stay late to dance the night away! Highly recommend this venue for an artistic, city wedding!

We loved having Skylight as our wedding venue. The staff was helpful and courteous throughout the process, and leading up to the wedding day. Skylight has a great vibe, which was exactly what we were looking for - An elevated, modern industrial elegant blank slate that we customized to our style. Our guests raved about the venue and how they loved it as well. We were able to have tons of flexibility in picking our vendors, which was a huge highlight. The ability to pick our own catering and other vendors made such a difference to our wedding and how personal it felt. They also provided additional decor items that we rented out, which was helpful to not have to find elsewhere. We would definitely recommend Skylight, and if I had to do everything over I would pick Skylight as our venue every time!!

My husband and I had a great experience working with SKYLIGHT as our wedding venue! We were initially drawn to SKYLIGHT because of it's minimalistic vibes and flexibility to bring in our own vendors. We knew we wanted something more lowkey and simple, with the ability to add on the things we wanted, unlike most traditional wedding venue packages that come with a lot of unnecessary frills. As our wedding day grew closer, we decided to add on the month-of-coordination planning services with Erin, which was crucial in ensuring our wedding day unfolded without any major issues.
