We were looking for an activity to do with visiting guests. Jon provided an informative and entertaining tour. Everyone had an enjoyable experience learning about the history of the area, ecology, wildlife viewing, and two very different rivers. Jon also entertained us by singing original songs and playing his guitar…hence the name Singing River Tours.

We toured last week and had a great time! Well worth the time and money. We learned so much and the boat felt comfortable and safe. We saw SO many birds, turtles, an otter and even a few gators. Highly recommend this tour!

The family does Jon’s platoon boat tour everytime we visit florida. Best tour in Florida. Learn about the wildlife in Florida along the 2 waters, fresh and salt waters. Highly Recommended.

We had a wonderful tour today with Captain Jon. He is very funny and informative. It was a wonderful comfortable 1 hour and 40 minute tour. They have a restroom at the dock also. Definitely worth going. Our tour was $25. We had a great time! 🌈😊

After years of hearing about this tour I finally did it with Lunch Bunch Gals and so glad! We arrived early & so did the other people who were going so they took us out early. It was a lovely day in Florida to begin with and this tour was so well done. Jon provides a ton of info, humor and he & driver (Andy) provide frequent stops to point out alligators, turtles, many types of birds and other things of note along the way. Towards the end of the tour, Jon pulls out his guitar and sings several songs which were icing on the cake to this great tour. Two of our ladies walk with walkers but had no problem maneuvering to get onto pontoon boat. Restrooms are available right at the area where you board. Parking is limited to a couple handicap spots near dock but more ample up a hill above. Very inexpensive & enjoyable tour.

We recently took our family of 17 on a tour with Singing River Tours, and it was a phenomenal experience that delighted every single one of us! With ages ranging from 10 to 80, finding an activity that keeps everyone entertained can be a challenge, but this tour exceeded all our expectations.

Captain Jon Semmes created a magical atmosphere with his live music, fascinating stories, and deep knowledge of the area’s history and wildlife. The kids were thrilled to spot turtles, birds, and even an alligator, while the adults enjoyed learning about the unique ecosystem and history of the Rainbow and Withlacoochee Rivers. Our older family members appreciated the relaxing pace of the tour and the comfortable, accessible boat.

The live music added something truly special—Captain Jon’s original songs captured the beauty of the surroundings and connected us all to the experience in a way we’ll never forget. It was wonderful to see everyone smiling, from the youngest to the oldest in our group.
