Update 10/21/2024: After posting this I got an email from them saying they would get me my photos by 10/15/2024 as they were "still just getting to June photographs." I still don't have my photos.

Initial: I am heartbroken to be doing this review, but I really feel I have no other option. My husband and I were married by this company back in June in PCB FL. Everything was running smoothly prior to the week of our wedding, but I'm now wondering if that was due to the previous scheduler (Debra) who seemed to have a better handle on everything. The week of our wedding, after paying the deposit for the beach license, I wasn't contacted by them until 3 days before our wedding. I assumed it was due to the company being busy in the height of wedding season, but poor Whitney had some health issues, so I brushed it aside and continued on happily. When they checked in to confirm if we still wanted to move up the wedding time, I said yes. Jason didn't show up for almost an hour and half later starting at the original wedding time scheduled, and explained he was driving from AL. We were annoyed, but let it go since everything fell into place, but the photographer was not there so our officiant was also the photographer. I was about 11 weeks pregnant at the time, and not being a native of FL was not used to the heat and did not prepare as I assumed our ceremony and photos total would be max 45 minutes in the sun. I think we were outside for about 1.5 hours just taking photos alone; needless to say, I got burnt. We parted ways with the promises of a fast turn around time for our photographs [to 30days per website] and continued on with the rest of our vacation with family. About a month later I still had not received our photos so I reached out to the same phone number Jason was communicating with us in day of; he told us the photos were not done yet because of some family emergencies; I again let it go as you can't interfere with Acts of God/ nature. I have patiently waited until today, 3 months after our wedding to reach out. I attempted to call/ message the phone numbers I was previously contacted with for SBW and both would not send my messages. I also emailed them but have not heard anything back. At this point I am just disheartened and discouraged as I have been looking forward to sharing these photos with family and friends, as well as make some canvases of these for our home as these would have been some of the nicest pictures my husband and I have taken together [even since we started dating]. I would even accept unedited photos right now, just so that way I still had something to remember the day by, but I don't think even that will be possible. $299 thrown away for photos I'll possibly never get just makes me want to cry; at least I'm grateful they gave us the marriage license to take back to the courthouse.

I don't know what happened to Jason and Whitney, but they seemed so legit when we booked. Fast forward 2 weeks before our wedding and my gut intuition kicked in after receiving 3 different phone numbers from them. Once they gave me the last number I did not even respond to the email, but they said they would contact me at 2 weeks and at 2 days before the wedding. That never happened. They had every intention of leaving us high and dry on OUR WEDDING DAY!! It is absolutely despicable, and we are SO lucky a lady from another company came and saved our day and once I told her of the situation, she knew EXACTLY the people and the company we were talking about. PLEASE never ever consider this company or ANY company JAson and Whitney are associated with!!

I would be careful before using Jason and Whitney. We are still awaiting our wedding photos we paid for. We have been given 2 different dates from Jason when we should have them, they never came. NOW all numbers we have for them are disconnected, they are not responding to emails, and most of their business pages are now gone. You also can’t send them a message on Facebook. I seen a post on Facebook and SEVERAL people are having the same issue. Money comes and goes but not having our pictures from our elopement is worse. What was suppose to be a beautiful day has turned into a nightmare trying to get our photos we paid for. I would consider another wedding service.

Had our wedding in June. They were over an hour late with barely any communication the day of the wedding and spotty even before then leading up to the day of. Still haven't received our pictures and no communication since the wedding. No previous numbers are working for them. Definitely do not use these people for your wedding! Have heard from someone that used to work for them that they used to run a legit, professional business and that they just randomly went off the rails and now the whole thing seems like a scam

Whitney and Jason were absolutely wonderful! The quality of Whitney's photos were just amazing. They were both knowledgeable about the area and while we wanted a sunset ceremony, they knew we wouldn't like the photo quality and drew that hard line, and I'm glad they did! Pensacola is not a good sunset wedding spot. Jason was performed the ceremony beautifully and helped to direct everyone where to go and how best to pose for those gorgeous photos! You will not regret employing these two for your getaway beach wedding.

I can’t say enough good about Jason, Whitney and the crew at Simple Beachside Weddings, LLC.
I reached out to them about conducting my daughters wedding, they responded very promptly and provided the information I had requested. They even followed up with me again a day or so later to answer any questions that we may have. At that time we decided on a date and time & they worked their magic!
Jason met us as soon as we arrived the day of the wedding. He is one of those people that upon meeting you immediately feel at ease with, as if you’ve known them forever. He had everything set up and was ready for the bride and groom.
The wedding was gorgeous! The beautiful beach setting, the arbor and flowers, music, sand ceremony & shell blessing- everything was perfect & completely stress free!
They worked their magic & made my baby girl’s wedding day absolutely perfect!
