Choosing a dj for our wedding was one of the most difficult decisions we had to make, but once we met Jay, we knew the search was over. Jay is incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, patient, considerate, and reasonable. He LOVES what he does, and it shows. My family sung his praises after my wedding! Although I got married in the midst of the pandemic, Jay still ensured it was as normal as possible (within the Governor's and CDC guidelines). He played a large role in making our wedding day that much more special, and interactive. Thank you, Jay!

Jay Friese did a great job at my sister's wedding! As the Maid of Honor, I was in touch with Jay, the bride and the wedding party about planning music for the ceremony and reception. Some of Jay's excellent qualities are:
1) He responds promptly. I always heard back from him within 24 hours of reaching out and on a business day he usually responded within a few hours or less.
2) He is flexible about changing the playlist. Everyone changes their mind when they are planning a party and the bride changed her mind about an entrance song only a few dozen times. Jay took this all in stride.
3) He listens. We asked him *not* to play music from a popular band that the bride *really* doesn't like. We only had to ask once and that was it.
4) The playlist was excellent. He played our favorites and mixed it up with other music that everyone loved.
5) He worked well with the event planner to introduce the wedding party and gave each pair a grand entrance.
6) He has good timing.
7) He is professional and fun to have at a party. The music was great and all of us had a fabulous time.

I want to first off by saying that I am a successful DJ that has been part of this industry for 10 years now. So when I got engaged the question out of everyone's mouth was.... who are you hiring to be your DJ! This was a difficult task I had a head of me because I have such high expectations from a DJ. However difficult people thought my decision was going to be, I already knew who I was going to hire. Just to put this into perspective... I know practically all the vendors on the first and second page of this site and I chose Jay as my DJ. That goes a looong way, because everyone including myself was expecting the best of the best at my wedding since I knew all the wedding vendors in the area. Let me be the first to tell you this man doesn't disappoint one bit. Jay provided music for our ceremony, cocktail, and reception. This also included full room uplighting for the venue. Everything was spot on and the best it could have been. I had given him specific times for the ceremony songs and when they should be played... I even stressed on the times for the intro song for the reception! Everything was flawless... as I expected from Jay. We even coordinated a point where I could DJ at my own wedding which was the icing on the cake. Don't even get me started on the song selection and energy he brought to the floor... because it was absolutely insane! He asked me before if I had a must play and do no play list for him... he expected a list from me because... I am who I am.... my response to him was "Do you thing man!"... and boy did he deliver... so people trust me when I say this have faith in this man and his ability to make your day something that you and your guests will never forget. Thank you Jay from the bottom of our hearts because you made our day absolutely incredible and something we will always treasure forever!
