Please please believe me when I say avoid this place at all costs!!! Just like the other reviews I too can attest that this place will cause you NOTHING but stress!!! Their communication is very poor!!! They double booked my date after guaranteeing me I had the place locked in! They took my money on the 20th and didn’t even bother to notify me until the 31st that they had already booked my date! Very dismissive, distasteful customer service!!! As a healthcare provider I am very big on giving quality care and this place is the exact opposite of what I pride myself on!! Don’t even waste your time!! Very sad encounter

I have been very understanding and patient about get all my money returned from this place. We got cancelled out due to the hurricane. As my heart does go out to the ones that have lost their homes and alI, I do not understand why if you could return the money from the 2 days for the event center usage why could you not return the deposit at the same time. I have been waiting for this to be returned. I have ask several times and not one person has responded. This is a very poor way of doing business. As a matter of fact not one person even contacted me to let me know the place got flooded out by the hurricane. I truly believe had I not reached out to them they would have left us thinking everything was good. We would have gotten to the center the day before the wedding and found out it was not able to be used. I would think twice about this place if I were you and you can bet I will not recommend to anyone. Not only are they unorganized, they do not communicate with each other. We had to send proof of payment to Mayly twice and she still said she had to look into it and get back to me....still waiting. 3 different people told me I would get ALL my money returned....still waiting. Not all of us just have extra money laying around. This money should be in a business account and used only for business since everyone is volunteers like I have been told. Please return my deposit

Canceled on pregnant woman less than 3 weeks before the baby shower!!!!!

Mayly was extremely rude and unprofessional so reached out to number listed online which is to Aggie and they are just cut from the same cloth. It all our fault and they don’t feel “comfortable” renting to us anymore because after a NIGHTMARE of an ordeal I was hopeful to reach a decent human being.

I copy and pasted the message I sent below that caused them to cancel on us after invites sent with this address and they accepted our deposit but here’s a quick list of issues leading up to the message for context:
1. Tries to pay deposit multiple times but the website had been “hacked” so we received special link to pay- hey no biggie things happen
2. Reach out since we never heard anything and Mayly stated we should have received an agreement, no we did not ma’am you remember your website was hacked. We ask for copy still don’t have a copy of agreement saying we can be there that day
3.we say we want to pay by credit, mind you we already said that’s how we were paying when we toured the place. We also had to remind her how we received two different quotes with 24 hours between myself and my mom.one for 475 one for 575 and she already said she would honor the lesser after initially giving us push back but we have the quote in an email…but now she forgot that convo and has to be reminded like we are trying to pull a fast one or something…But no way to pay credit she’ll see what she can do but would “hate to see us lose the place for not paying” yet no way to pay how we initially agreed…okay so now we say yeah my mom will drive 40 minutes to pay by check.. can we have agreement… still no agreement

The entire time there was 0 empathy or hey we will figure this out together or anything remotely helpful… apparently we were the problem and she seems to think she was doing us a favor rather than us being customers in a business transaction… it’s laughable at this point

I reach out to a number listed on a website as I start to worry if this is legit since first website hacked then no way to pay months later still by credit and then no contract and now she wants a pregnant woman to meet meet with 500 cash just didn’t sit right so I wanted reassurance or at the very least to speak with someone more professional that can be made aware of the experience and help move things forward and verify no this is not a scam yes we have been having issues…

In comes Aggie, cut from the same cloth lol I’ll leave that there… she cancels on us for this message to the online number that you are supposed to call or text with questions and concerns…

“Hi there. I am writing due to a concern regarding my upcoming event in which i have rented your facility. We paid our deposit months ago for August 31st but never received any details on how to pay the balance, nor did we receive a contract. We were ready to pay balance at any time, but there was an issue with your website collecting money. The woman who showed us the place initially has suggested for us to go in person and pay cash. I do not feel comfortable doing that. I want to be sure this is not a scam. We prefer to pay credit or can pay by check if necessary, although credit was an option upon paying for the deposit. My mother is the one paying for this for us as it is our baby shower. This has become unnecessarily stressful. We agreed on $475 that was to be honored initially due to my mother receiving a quote via email for that amount, which I have a copy of that email. Then the woman must have forgotten but now says she will honor it again... although she already did. So that is now resolved. The next issue is my mother trying to pay and not having an option to pay credit, which now she will drive 40 minutes from her home to meet this woman to provide a check instead. The last issue is that she stated we had 30 days to pay, but nowhere did it say that it says we would receive info to pay, which we never did because apparently the website was hacked… I am 31 weeks pregnant…

Had my wedding reception there. Great space and came with chairs and tables. Everyone was great to work with and the price was great! The outside was beautiful looking over the water and guests and kids enjoyed going in and out to move around. Def recommend!!

I made a cake for a wedding here. It's a really nice hall with full kitchen. Great place for private events.

The experience with the staff here was terrible. There was a huge lack of communication amongst the leadership at Signal Cove, and we took the nastiness from that miscommunication. At every single turn there was some tiny thing that we were berated for such as not taking out the trash (which only had a few items in it btw) even though it wasn’t even our trash. It was the trash from the bingo people the night before. So they asked us to send pictures if the Bingo event left trash again, and we did (as well as taking out that trash) and we were called rude for sending that evidence. So many tiny things like this, Every. Single. Week. And every single week it was not addressed politely, it was addressed incredibly rudely. Just stay professional, and we would not have had such a terrible experience.

Great venue right on the water. You look down the canal and it joins up with the main channel going out of Leisure Beach and Signal Cove. You can see all the way to the Gulf of Mexico.
