A co-worker and I decided to take the kids (5,6 and 13) out on a fishing charter for Spring Break. To say the least we were a bit hesitant and nervous with the attention spans (squirl). Also the fact that my daughter told my “I’m not fishing” when I surprised her with the trip. Captain Josh was simply amazing. He made it a point to include the kids throughout the trip and always was making them laugh with jokes. As soon as our poles hit the water we immediately had fish. The kids were ecstatic, screaming with joy. Captain Josh even made it a point to not only teach the kids about the fish and techniques to catching, but went above and beyond to make sure everyone caught s fish. Our trip continued with some cruising and anchoring at a beach where the kids could kids. Captain Josh then took us to a hidden gem for lunch followed by personnel interaction with some local dolphins. To sum it all up, Siesta Charters exceeded our expectations and we are already planning many more trips in the future. I’ll sign of with a quote from my daughter when asked what her favorite part of the trip was: “The fishing of course Dad”!

Our family of 6 used Siesta Charters for a cruise around the inter coastal and some fishing. We had an amazing time filled with little islands, huge fish, and dolphins on full display! Josh was courteous and provided great information about Florida’s wildlife. We would highly recommend using Siesta Charters for your next fishing or cruising adventure!

Amazing time fishing and sight seeing. Plenty of room on the boat for the four of us while fishing. Captain Josh knew his way around the water and was able to take us to several spots to catch fish. Will definitely fish with him again.

WOW- an amazing day fishing with Captain Josh Gilliam! As a longtime Alaskan fisherman- I can say this is a top-notch charter outfit!

Safety, ethics, experienced boat handling, quality boat and gear, freshly caught bait, professionalism, humor- the whole package. Never saw another boat hooking tarpon that day, but Captain Josh got us on them. We also briefly fished snook and spotted seatrout before having to get off the water because of an approaching storm.

Bonus: We enjoyed seeing baby dolphins with their mamas, and even a manatee! 😁

Great experience! Went on a boat ride and Captain Josh knew all the spots to go to, including the cleanest bathroom spots. We found dolphins and a sandbar where we went swimming and found cool shells. It was my kids first boat ride, they can’t wait to go back. It was a great day, and I would definitely recommend!

Captain Josh was super accommodating and easy to book with, he took my family to secluded sandbars, and we got to see dolphins playing in our wake. If you get the chance to book with soon to be “Minimum Woke” don’t hesitate!
