My wife, two puppies and myself rented the Blue Lagoon bungalow from Rich and Ali of Siesta Bungalows for 6 months while relocating. From the moment of first contact, through to vacating we had the most wonderful experience.

This absolutely fully furnished property is a true gem. Minutes walk or cycle to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and the vibrant village of Siesta Key.

Palm Island, where the property is found, is like stepping back in time. A wonderful friendly and beautiful neighborhood.

The property is exceptionally decorated, immaculately clean and well furnished. We needed only turn up with our clothes, everything else was catered for.

I cannot recommend Siesta Bungalows enough and will happily direct any visiting family or friends their way.

Rich and Ali are two of the most warm & friendly people we have met. Unbelievably welcoming and accommodating, who we now regard as close friends.

From Palm Island, after vacating, we relocated just down the road, they welcomed us into the community, introduced us to their lovely friends and also us to their wealth of local contacts to assist in the updating of our new home.

To reiterate, if you are looking for a hassle free, wonderfully maintained and beautiful property to rent in the Sarasota area, I implore you to look no further than Siesta Bungalows.

I assure you, you will have a superb experience with these down to earth, honest and generally delightful people.

I was lucky enough to stay in Garden Terrace in April 2023 and cannot express enough how great my experience was. The bungalow was charming, private, and central to everything. Safety was a top priority for me, so the bungalow’s being location on quiet and friendly Palm Island was perfect. It is an ideal place for working remotely and relaxation.

The bungalow itself has a beautiful terrace and backyard area, cozy living space, and a small but well-equipped kitchen. Most importantly, it was clean! Everything I needed.

The owners, Rich and Ali Light, were helpful from the very moment I was interested in renting their bungalow till the moment I left. They are just around the corner if you need anything and were always more than happy to help.

My experience staying at Garden Terrace was nothing short of perfect and I highly recommend this rental (or any of Siesta Bungalows rentals!) to anyone looking for their perfect vacation. I’m already dreaming of my next visit!

I stayed in the Fern Haven and had a lovely experience. Rich and Ali are kind and attentive hosts, and Siesta Key is paradise. I liked being able to walk or bike to the village, but mostly I enjoyed the cottage. I work from home so this was a lovely place to be to work and play. I brought my cat as well and I think he liked it more than I did thanks to the sunny windows and critters outside (birds, lizards, squirrels). I would happily stay there again, and don't hesitate to reach out to Rich and Ali to book early! It says a lot that they have so many repeat visitors.

Rich and Ali are great! Very honest, professional, responsive and all around great humans! I loved my bungalow so much and made many amazing memories there! It is one of the most charming homes, very well maintained, with authentic details like original wood floors, adorable vintage pink bathroom tiles and large closets! The yard is beautiful and soothing with tall bamboo and mature trees! Perfect for relaxing meditations! A real gem! Both the house and owners! Thank you both for a great experience! My kids and I are so grateful for our time there!

Truly a slice of paradise. We had a wonderful stay at the Tropical Hideaway. It is the perfect location to kick back and enjoy the spectacular weather surrounded by lush private gardens and trees with a large lanai and hot tub. The beach and "Village" are a short walk away. The bungalow is a little retro but with all the amenities to make our stay comfortable; ninety days went by so fast!
Our hosts, Rich and Ali welcomed us upon our arrival making us feel right at home. They were always available and ready to help in a every way.

Doesn’t get much better than this! Rich and Ali are great people and hosts to say the least. Unbelievable hospitality/service along with a fantastic location. Just a few minutes walk away from beach access 10 and very close to the restaurants and shops in the village. Cottage is great. We loved the outdoor shower and the beautiful tropical landscaping while sitting on the lanai. We genuinely love and miss this place and would absolutely love to stay in one of Rich & Ali’s cottages again if we’re lucky enough. Highly recommend!

I’ve rented from Rich & Ali in the past and they’re the best. In 2023 I rented this bungalow & it was first rate. Privacy plus a fully functional well stocked (with every utensil, plate, glass & corkscrew needed). The location was ideal, as I parked my car for a week at a time & rode my vintage beach cruiser that Rich provided to the beach or village. I highly recommend this or any other rental property of siestabungalows.

Choose this home for its fantastic location, hosts and amenities - easy walk to the beach or downtown Siesta Key, but feels miles away from the crowds in its tropical setting. The home was perfect for the two of us and occasional guests; we appreciated the fenced yard for our dog, and the lanai lent itself to morning coffee in the hot tub and relaxed evening meals. We traveled into Sarasota often and the short commute was seamless; we had the best of both here...downtown amenities and easy beach access.
Wonderful hosts and setting - thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
