Agreed that needs some maintenance when out in the field but that's part of the adventure isn't it. My neice and I took a nice long walk. It was a great time. The air smells cleaner. Or at least that's what she said. Lol

Just remember to spray your pants with Deep Woods Off but that's to be expected. It is nature.

This place would have been a very nice hiking area. However, the trails are not maintained at all and you have to trek through 4 feet of overgrowth. If you come, wear pants because the ticks are horrible!

Beautiful place, but be warned and be prepared. The place is LOADED with dog ticks. Walked out with at least 20 on me and have been finding them in my car for weeks since.

Nice winter season hiking midstate trail near gas station food-water the spring-summer great to you will need permethrin for tick's in the field pet's need good protection!! Have fun!!

This Trail would be great, but leads to multiple fields where the trail is not kept up with at all, I would highly suggest high socks so you don't get covered in ticks and poison ivy

This is beautiful place but the Midstate Trail at Sibley Farm was not at all maintained and we ended picking up a lot of ticks.

So glad they preserved this land in 2005. Pay attention to the markers if you take the field route. Great area to hike for an hour or two or more.

I found this park during my Midstate traverse. Nice park, not developed. I’m going to take a day out of the MS to do the trails in the Silby Park area.
