I had one beef with the rooms. No bathroom vents. Heaven help you if you were sharing a room with more than one person. Aside from that, absolutely stellar staff. So helpful and friendly. Parking was easy, and many restaurants within very short walking distance. Rooftop pool and gym were well maintained. I would recommend this establishment

This is the second time we stayed here, about a week the first time a couple of years ago, ten days this time. The hotel has a lot to commend it, but it’s getting a little worn and shabby and could use an upgrade. So here are my pluses and minuses:||Pluses: Spacious rooms/suites with a sliding door between for quiet time for separate activities. Comfortable bed. Double sink. Coffee maker (with unlimited free coffee), fridge, microwave. Desk. Good room-darkening drapes. Large rooftop pool and adjacent exercise room with a variety of equipment. Welcoming and capable staff. Standard buffet breakfast (overpriced at $18). Late night bar and light food. Comfortable lobby. Many nearby stores and diverse restaurants (including a great coffee shop steps away.)||Minuses: Not enough outlets or USB ports in the room. Tight spaces in bedroom; only one bedside table and lamp for two beds. Very little storage; one dresser with two small drawers. Only one desk chair. Expensive mini-market with snack food, drinks, and sundries. A/C kept on freezing in public areas. Parking deck is a block away and overpriced (up from $10 to $12). Overall, the rooms could use an upgrade and a deep cleaning. Housekeeping was OK but often came inconveniently in the late afternoon.||With lots of choices in the vicinity I doubt we’ll return.

Edit: I dropped this review another star. I had to stay in this place another night unfortunately. Worst sleep I've ever had in a hotel.

During my recent stay at the Sheraton Suites Fort Lauderdale West, I was disappointed to find that while the lobby and exterior grounds are well-maintained, the same level of care has not been extended to the guest rooms. The room I stayed in felt unclean, with noticeable issues such as stained carpets and an unpleasant odor from the HVAC system. The bathroom was particularly concerning, featuring a stained shower and overall lack of cleanliness. The bed was uncomfortable, with lumpy padding and thin, low-quality pillows, leading to a poor night's sleep.

Upon reviewing other guest feedback, it appears these issues are not isolated. Common complaints include outdated and dirty carpets, noisy bathroom pipes, and flashing smoke alarms disrupting sleep. Some guests have also reported bed bug infestations, which is deeply concerning.

While the hotel's location is convenient, with various restaurants and shops nearby, and the staff are noted for their friendliness, the subpar room conditions significantly detract from the overall experience. It's evident that while investments have been made in the hotel's public areas, the guest rooms are in dire need of attention and refurbishment to meet acceptable hospitality standards.

A friendly staff doesn't mean you can disregard the entire reason people are renting a room, to get a quality night's sleep. It's disgusting what these giant conglomerates are doing to this industry.

My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting the Sheraton for the first time during the last week of November. The entire stay was great, We received a complimentary room upgrade upon arrival. Our suite was clean and comfortable. The gym was nice but small and filled up quickly before 8am. The pinnacle part of our stay was the hospitality, professionalism and the above & beyond customer service we received when we discovered that following checking out, we had left behind a very important piece of equipment; we were able to confirm this when speaking with housekeeping Supervisor Ms Marcia Evans who was extremely helpful in even checking for the item, she reassured us that they could get the item to us with coordination from Ms Cassandra Irving. Cassandra helped guide us to outreach UPS; who was very little help in assisting to pickup and ship the device. After 2 business days of no luck with UPS, when were about to give up, Cassandra volunteered to handle the shipping arrangements and we received our item to our home address today. What an amazing group of ladies you have employed at The Sheraton, they truly deserve commendation for going above and beyond to help us after we concluded our visit. We will definitely return. ||-Kind regards Oriol family

Rick took care of us at breakfast time, he was so kind and super attentive with our order. We will back again. ||In general, the hotel was clean and also it’s smells so good, the entire staff was very friendly with everybody. ||The price of the breakfast is not bad at all $18 adult and $9 for kids.

My two children and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. All areas of the hotel are well-maintained, staff members are friendly and professional, and the room was spacious and well-appointed.

The only complaint I have is that the parking garage is not attached to the hotel. It's a bit of a hike to get to it--so keep that in mind if you have lots of luggage and/or if you are traveling with small children.

The strength of Sheraton Suites lies in its exemplary staff. From my first contact at the check in desk, Grace, Wendy and Caroline were professional and gracious, and did their best to accommodate my wishes. The hotel shuttle is a great service and Talesha, Kevin and Franklin were courteous and helpful. Moesha, the barista was wonderful and Cassandra, the supervisor is a kind and efficient leader as is exhibited in her well trained staff.
