Great trail up the hill side. Beautiful panoramic views of Santa Margarita Lake. Victoria gave detailed riding lessons to my wife and kids before the horse ride. Victoria and her husband John were very personable.
The only thing that disappointed us was that there were cobwebs, dust in the jeep that transferred my family up and down the hill to and from the picnic area and the final destination of the trail. Also, there was a lot of litter on the ground around one of the structures. Having a tidy place that looks successful makes a business more appealing and leaves a lasting impression. A tidy place tells the customer nonverbally that you respect them and appreciate their business even more than words.

We had the most wonderful time with Victoria. Her horses were well trained. She gave us a very thorough training- but the beauty of Santa margarita lake were just beyond!

It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The people and the horses are very friendly, helpful, and especially patient. The trail ride itself is a fun and suprisingly tranquil experience that will make you happy that you set aside the time to have it. I very much reccomend Shangri-la and I definitely plan on returning again.

Victoria was wonderful and their property has some great views. Brought my 6 year old who has never ridden. She was so thorough with him and taught him quite a bit.

The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. The horses were great. The ride was scenic. She gives you a short instructional session before the ride. I will go again. Great day.

A wonderful mom and pop operation in a beautiful setting. The horses are very well cared for and are well behaved. Training prior to riding. Trails are gorgeous. I would definitely go back.

The owners were nice people and the horse were so beautiful and fun to be around. Next time I want to go on a cooler day. But it is a nice ride. Thank you Vikki!!

Bad experience with the owners. Did a lot of work on the farm(mostly putting up fence posts). After 2days of work refused to pay but said they would give me a free horseback ride?‍?. no thanks
ps. never got payed.
