Seven Hollows Trailhead - Morrilton, Arkansas

6/8/2024- We started at 7:30 AM. It was a overcast day, 65° and rain. The tree canopy kept us mostly dry for the most part but then we eventually were soaked! I am a plus sized woman and found this hike to be easy in some spots and challenging in others. Lots of little streams to cross and lots and lots of rocks and tree roots. That being said wear proper hiking shoes! Since it was raining many of the flat rocks on the trail were slick! Definitely bring plenty of water, take lots of breaks/stops and enjoy the surroundings! Lots of cool caves! The Natural Bridge is beautiful and massive! We did the trail in about 4 hrs 45 min. I also recommend doing the trail counter clockwise. If you do it this way you will be going down alot of the steep rocks instead of up them. We starting seeing other hikers about 2.5 miles in, mostly everyone was pleasant except for a large group of teenagers who were yelling profanities at each other and throwing rocks at the Natural Bridge, kind of ruined the mood. Other than the teenager it was a great hike! Free parking, no bathrooms.

Seven Hollows is beautiful & raw. Recently rained so lots of water on trail and streams. I didn’t wear creek shoes and my feet never got wet -loops around water and rock stepping stones. Plenty of tree roots that can trip you up- watch your step! Getting to the Natural Bridge / Stone Arch is about at the 2 mile mark from parking @ Seven Hollows. There’s a blue sign pointing at it that says Natural Bridge. The trail is pretty narrow & several dogs on trail (on a leash). Everyone was friendly & in good spirits. Tons of phlox flowers & other wildflowers, fiddleheads & variety of ferns, massive rocks, & cave pockets. I enjoyed Seven Hollows on a gorgeous April day right after quite a bit of rain.

Super pretty trail. There are lots of creek beds and caves. The trail itself only has a few steep places, but it can be a long trail if you aren't used to that type of distance.

Awesome trail! Took 2hours to complete it. The waterfall was a let down as there wasn't water enough to have the waterfall as suggested... But overall very nice hike! Awesome natural bridge.

Update: Still a great hike, spotted multiple great pokemon!

This is an awesome hike, it can be strenuous at times, and very easy at others. There's lots to see on this hike, so take your time and look around. I recommend a good hiking type shoe, something that protects your ankles would be good. Bring a good amount of water, and a snack or two. There are lotsa great place to take a break, and enjoy the awesome nature you're in. Please remember to take out what you bring in, and if you see trash, bring it back with you.

This was such an enjoyable hike, I highly recommend it! We initially got a little deterred with the 4 hour time frame, but there was so much to look at with the leaves changing and all of the rock formations that it didn't feel like we were out there that long (just be sure to wear good hiking boots for the rocks). There's plenty of things to see, and it's just a beautifully well done trail. The natural bridge and grotto were great points of interest ?

This is a great hike with the Grotto and the giant Natural Bridge being the coolest spots. There are numerous cave shelters along the trail. The pictures of the Grotto don’t do it justice.

Seven Hollows Trail is 5-miles with the added Grotto section. It’s worth the moderate to strenuous trek. Take a left at the first fork to hike the loop clockwise. Pay attention for the varieties of mushrooms, fungi and lichen. All very cool to see. Very shaded trail except the turtle rocks areas. Bring plenty of water and wear good hiking shoes. Our group took 3 hours and that included plenty of rest stops in the heat and looking around exploring. The sandstone formations are the highlight. The natural bridge is an excellent photo opportunity.
