NOW UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!! I put down a $300.00 deposit for September 2025 but the NEW cost was well over $1000.00 more with NO air conditioning. The price to Stay at our favorite cottage for the last 20 years is more than we can afford. Note: the new management refused to refund my $300.00 deposit l paid in September 2024.|BEWARE!!

Great time at Seaside. I hesitate to write a review as It is best if this place stays somewhat a secret. We had comfortable lodgings, enjoyed cooking at the grill and eating outdoors. It was quiet at night and all the other guests were friendly. The only sound at night was the gentle waves on the beach. Our unit was clean and had plenty of clean towels.

Can't beat the location. Right on the water/beach, affordable, quaint, and walkable to a park, some restaurants and ice cream.|We stayed in cottage 27. A nice studio cottage that sleeps 3. Has a small but efficient kitchen. Open the windows and enjoy the breezes.

I've been staying at Seaside for years and have stayed in several different cottages & have always had a great experience, the staff is friendly & helpful, the grounds are always well kept & the sand on the beach is as soft as silk. All the cottages are unique & have their own charms. With 42 cottages for rent you usually meet people from all over & many of them have been staying there for years, sometimes grown adults will tell you they have been staying there since they were kids on vacation with their family & now bring their own kids. The Skipper restaurant across the street has great food & there are lots of other places to go & see & these cottages are centrally located to do that. In short been there many times & will be going back.|Steve D

Seaside is incredible. We have stayed in 6 different cottages in 7 years. Every time we go back, we are not disappointed. The grounds are beautiful and the cottages have everything you need to prepare meals for your family. Kids run and play together. There is no air conditioning, but the cooler temperatures and provided fans make up for that. The staff are friendly and helpful. We look forward to our trip every year. I highly recommend!

The only bad thing about staying at Seaside Cottages is that now I cannot stay anywhere else, or I will be disappointed. This was my third visit and highly recommend it especially the ocean front units. The property is very well run, and the staff is very nice to deal with. The private parking and private beach make it very convenient.

Second time here in 3 years and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the grounds are immaculate! Each cottage has their own theme and we really enjoyed just staying in #37 that had views of the water throughout. Love being able to walk right into the beach or walk a minute to Skippers. Great choice for toddlers!

Our experience with our efficiency cottage was reminiscent of stays in seaside cottages of decades past except that there was hot and cold running water, working appliances, no air conditioning, a comfortable bed and a tiny cruise ship style bathroom. Also clean with no sand on the floor. During our stay no air conditioning was needed as there are windows and doors with screens that we were never hot and fortunately during our stay there was a constant breeze. A floor fan was provided but never needed. TV is provided which was good to watch the Houston ,Tx local news and multitudes of other channels but I couldn"t find anything local like WBZ.|The guests in the other units all seemed like mostly nice family types with lots of barbecuing and ball playing. I saw no obnoxiousness at all. ||What I had not anticipated was the fact that all luggage etc had to be toted to the cottages from the parking lot on the other side of the road and then varying distances further across lawn depending where your cottage was located. Good exercise if you are not old or in bad shape but it can be a tough haul if you are. Carts are supplied for this trek but it can still be a job.||Very good seafood restaurant, The Skipper, right next door to the parking lot. No driving required.
