This place will now hold such a special place in our hearts as we had our wedding here and could not have prayed for a more beautiful experience. We booked this venue before seeing it in person and the pictures do NOT do it Justice for how gorgeous it actually is. We received so many compliments from our guests and the coordinators were so accommodating and professional! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place for our dream wedding!

This has truly become one of my favorite venues in florida! The waterfront views are unmatched with its historic Mediterranean feel! As a photographer, this is one of my favorite wedding venues in Sarasota! The Powel Crosley is an incredibly unique and elegant venue with historical touches and all the amenities you could need. They offer beautiful rooms available for getting ready in, and countless spots around the venue that are perfect for photos. They also offer multiple ceremony / reception setup options, depending on if you want to be on the water, in front of the pavilion, or inside the historic hall. The staff is wonderful, as well! I would highly recommend the Powel Crosley for your wedding!

We came for a free public tour today. Usually the Estate is a wedding venue but several times a year it is open to the public for tours. The home was built in 1929 in 72 days and is on a beautiful spot on the bay. Spacious rooms and the county did a nice job of restoration. Many of the rooms had Crowley radios and other inventions he was known for.

Beautiful location. You need to do everything here. It’s a blank slate. Also, if you want to have a wedding in the Spring or Summer the venue is better suited for smaller parties 80 people fit nicely inside the front space then the space is divided. The outdoor area can seat more and is beautiful.

We had our wedding at The Powel Crosley and it was absolutely gorgeous! The venue does have rules that have to be followed which may not fit with your wedding so I would make sure you read them before booking, for us they fit with our plans already! The venue also requires specific caterers, we went with Simply Gourmet and it was delicious! The Venue was absolutely stunning and gives that romantic timeless feel! I would book when the weather is nice if you can!

Beautiful venue, the floor tiles are vintage and still attractive. The ship room lives up to its name, having a circular design with stained wood panels forming the walls. A beautiful ceiling with a compass rose in the middle, this room gives nautical vibes when you step inside it, very artistic. The lawn on this estate is also beautiful, it has nice grass and an amazing view of the bay. Viewing the sunset over the water is an experience in itself.
