What a fun and memorable experience! Capt. Trent and Savannah were amazing. Sweetest duo and we thoroughly enjoyed them. Knowledgeable, Fun, kind and sweet. They were kind enough to wait for us even when we needed a bathroom break right before our ride. We did the sunset cruise and were fortunate enough to see so many dolphins. Some of the pics were surreal, we’ll definitely be back. Savannah even took some amazing pics of the passengers with the sunset in the background. I haven’t done a whole lot of water sports and was a little nervous, but you’ll be so grateful you did this. Thank you so much for giving us a wonderful experience!

October 12, 2024 fireworks cruise. We received information about the time and cruise. We called because we questioned the time after seeing the time for the fireworks. We were assured the time was correct. We then received a call at the last minute that they had given us the summer time, not the October time. So we scrambled to make it in time. We did only to come to a dark dock with no lights. We found a helpful gentleman who pointed us to another dark area. We found captain Pat. He asked us several times the same questions. He was a bit confused and said he had been at a Trump boat rally all day. “Where are you from? Have you been here before? What are your names?” He had difficulty getting out of the dock. Asked us to make sure his light was on in the back. He then asked us what time the fireworks were and did we want him to pull up to a shore before the fireworks so the littles could play on a beach in the dark. Hard no. We were all anxious by then and praying. We realized when we got out in the water the front lights were not working and he blamed it on the hurricane. He got a a bit too close to land and the barge that had the fireworks in it. Long story short, the fireworks were amazing, but we didn’t really enjoy because we were praying to make it back safely. We checked reviews before booking, but really feel we let our family down. Do not take the October fireworks cruise!!

My husband and I took the screaming eagle Sunset Cruise. Was absolutely amazing. We are local and have done several different venues, including the crab island tour and other dolphin cruise with two other different vendors and enjoyed this one the most. Brad was our captain and he was awesome. Out of all the activities we have done now we like this the best and will revisit frequently. The experience is most definitely worth your money and the memories made last a lifetime. Thank you so much for your awesome hospitality. You guys are amazing.

Check in was super simple and easy. If you have children under 6 they will require they wear a life vest. You will need to sign a form before getting on the boat.

Capt Billy and Logan were an amazing team. They we both super friendly. Capt Billy shared about a ton of things tondo in the area between Destin, Pensacola and Panama City. He also shared a lot about the dolphins and some good eats on the boardwalk. The boat does go really fast so prepare your kids. I didn't tell them about my boys sensitivity to noise but we brought hearing protection with us just in case it got loud. You may get wet 😆 you are on a boat. My oldest son loved the wild in the beginning and end. He said it was very much like a roller coasters only more wild.

We saw a couple different pods of dolphins with a few babies. They dolphins were surfing behind us several times. There was shark following some of the dolphin pods trying to find an opportunity to catch some fish.

At first I was concerned of the boat size definitely smaller than others we have done but turned out it was awesome! The smaller boat allowed us to get closer to the dolphins 🐬 which was such an amazing experience. The captain and his mate were friendly and upbeat. The boat had great speed but would slow down to watch the dolphins play in the water. Only downside is the boat ride wasn’t long enough in my opinion.

Update 4/1/24 went back two years later, still just as amazing. The crew is so friendly and personable. They will answer all the questions. Very knowledgeable and funny. We even got to see a baby!

We had a wonderful time with Captain Billy. He was friendly, hilarious, and very personable. The entire staff was kind and welcoming. Our 3.5 yo loved every second of it. Saw several pods of dolphins and went for a fun ride. We will definitely be booking again when we come to Destin next!

We literally got off the boat 15 minutes ago and I couldn't wait to leave a review. Captain Trent and Savannah were AMAZING. I am so so so happy we did not go on one of the bigger sunset cruises. We had like maybe 11 people on our cruise and it was so much nicer than a boat full of people. It was more PERSONAL! Captain Trent had a great personality and was very funny. He asked where everyone was from and gave lots of good information throughout the cruise. He and Savannah were determined that we would see some dolphins and we sure did! Savannah was sweet and chatted with us, giving us advice about the best local restaurants and experiences she had. They were very good about making sure everyone got on and off the boat safely and I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed it. Being my very first ride at sea, I was nervous, but before I knew it, I was jamming along to the awesome music they provided and wishing we could stay out longer than an hour. If you are even hesitating to book a cruise from Screaming Eagle, do NOT hesitate. I am not typically a person who does not leaves reviews, but this was just too good not to. We will go again for sure!
