The last time I talked to an actual person was during "normal business hours" on Friday morning. Before I got off the phone, I made sure to ask what their call center hours were and the lady ensured me that this was a 24/7 line and if I call it I will talk to a person. I've spent 5 hours on hold since then waiting for them to answer so that I can fix my flight that leaves Sunday night. I tried to call United directly and pay, but they said i am required to go through my booking agency (sato). Looks like I will either not be leaving on time, or hopefully, United will let me pay out of pocket at the airport..

I have called several times due to an emergency and even the airline was on hold for much longer than 45 minutes before they had to hung up because they were 100% unresponsive. How are you going to have a 24 hour service if there is actually no one there to help when they are supposed to? Great going SATO. You really know how to royally screw people over when you're supposed to be there to help. Thanks but no thanks

Update: took someone I know across the states to actually get an answer and the rep was so very helpful. I still stand by the above review overall, making an exception for the helpful representative.

I was Sophia Haratani and was her driver, I also tried to call and was on the forever hold. This kind on help doesn't really seem useful or even existent. Why have a 24 hour line for emergencies and not even be there for the people. These people are giving their life for their country and in turn are breaking down wondering why the same country they serve turn their backs on them.
