So many fun things to do and see! Not leaving out the chance to hand feed, flamingos! The chance to touch a live alligator. With the chance to get your picture taken with beautiful tropical birds.

The property is beautiful with winding trails through some amazing greenery. This property is over 85 years old and I can imagine what it was like in the early days for people to come and wander through. We had fun and would recommend recommended.

Was amazing! The real reason we went was so my wife can feed the flamingos. Her mom passed 3 years ago and lived flamingos. Feed the flamingos brought tears in my wife’s eye as she thought how much her mom would have loved feeding the flamingos. The place was very peaceful and it’s like taking a nature walk in a jungle except smaller. They had all sorts for parrots and other birds, baby and a huge alligators. It was worth our 2 hrs drive down.

My wife and I visited Sarasota Jungle Gardens on a Saturday, and we had a great time. It wasn’t too crowded, though there were a few birthday parties happening, which added to the lively atmosphere. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

While there was still some minor hurricane damage, the place looked fantastic overall. They’re actively working on repairs, so it won’t be an issue for long.

One of the highlights of our visit was feeding the flamingos. They were absolutely gorgeous and fascinating birds. It was a fun and unique experience, though we did feel that the price of the feed was a bit high for the small amount you received.

Overall, Sarasota Jungle Gardens is a great way to spend a few hours on a Saturday. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a visit!

We brought our 3 year old granddaughter and we all had a blast. The animal and bird Shows were wonderful and entertaining. You can pay additional to hold a baby alligator. Everyone who did loved it and the handlers were very informative. We got there at about 11 missed the first show at 1030 but caught several later and left about 3:30 pm. They sell feed bags that make it so interesting feeding the flamingos and goats. But your ticket online.

First time visiting Jungle Gardens. Our family had a great time. So many animals to see, interact with, feed and observe. We will be back for sure. Everything was clean. Recommend buying tickets in advance online so you don’t have to wait in line. Be sure to add food to feed the flamingos and petting zoo.

Took us about an hour to walk the whole area. Quite a few areas were marked closed for renovations. Definitely geared towards kids. Feeding the flamingos was an awesome experience. Make sure you bring quarters with you to buy extra food for the birds. Yes, you can buy food when you buy your tickets but if you run out and want more you can buy your own at the exhibit.

Great place and loved the up close animal encounters. It's small but still lots of fun, my favorite was feeding the flamingos. You can either buy a bag of animal food at the gift shop or bring quarters and they have some machines where you can get animal food that way (they look like gumball machines but with animal food in them).

It was beautiful and fun. We saw birds painting, held an alligator, and a macaw, fed the flamingos, the alligators, goats & turtles, and walked through the jungle. Great place to visit. Note: the Cafe is under renovation. We would have stayed longer to see everything but got hungry.
