I’ve been staying at Sandwich Lodge & Resort for the past three to four years every summer and sometimes winter, and I can confidently say it’s an amazing place. The hotel is incredibly comfortable, and the service is top-notch. They offer a variety of excellent food choices, including delicious sausages, and the staff is always kind and welcoming. The rooms are spotless—I've never seen a speck of dust anywhere. One of the highlights is their clean and well-maintained pool, which is perfect for a relaxing swim. They even have an outdoor pool during the summer, which is a hit with the kids. Another great perk is that they are dog-friendly, and they handle it wonderfully without any complaints. The hotel is quiet and provides a peaceful environment, making it a great place to unwind. Overall, I’d rate Sandwich Lodge & Resort a solid 10 out of 10. The staff is amazing, the environment is clean, and the overall experience is fantastic. I definitely recommend this hotel to you and your family!

Had a quick one night stay here. Room was clean and bed was comfortable and it was nice being able to walk nextdoor to the local tavern to grab dinner. Just be aware if your room overlooks the indoor pool it's gonna be noisey and bright in your room until about 10pm.

Average room for a fair price. Convenient location. Room was fine and clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fine. Good selection of offerings. I don't personally like the coffee, but other beverages are available. Only thing is the staff worker at the front desk, in the evening, needs to learn to make eye contact and speak up and not mumble, so I don't have to keep saying what?, what? (and I am not hard of hearing).

Staff and communication are top notch. Hot shower and a comfortable bed. We really liked the park right in front of your room. Only slight issue was the lock to our room was broken but it took a little bit of playing with to lock us in for the night.
Would most Definity book again when we are in the area.

We had a very good time it would get five stars but they are going under construction during our time there. The pool that was supposed to be heated was very cold there were eight people and their children and the hot tub. I noticed they were doing a lot of upgrades I am sure by next summer it will be a five star hotel

Stayed here for one night. Arrived at 2:20 pm ( after a 6 hour drive) and went to see if room was ready. I was told I could check into room, if I paid an extra fee of $20. I pointed out that it was almost 2:30. I was told “ that’s our policy”. I had already seen that there were only four cars in a large parking lot. Shameful. |When I came back hours later to check in I was asked how many occupants would be in room. Why would that matter? I booked the room with two double beds. Whether there one or four of us didn’t not change anything in room. But because I had listed two, I was charged another $70 for extra person in room. ( a friend I didn’t know would be with us when I booked). Again, shameful. Talk about nickel and dimeing us. |Room itself was average. Towels were particularly rough and stained. My husband asked for more towels when getting coffee and he was told to bring old towels back to front desk. Our room was not walkable to front desk. My husband was supposed to pick up a pile of wet towels and put them in his car and drive them back around building to front desk? Again, ridiculous. The milk for coffee in lobby was curdled. | Only plus it’s in a convenient location. Would not stay here again.

The rooms are very basic. 2 beds, a table, a TV with only cable, a fridge, and a microwave. Nothing fancy or luxurious. The floors are not carpeted and it was very evident they haven't been mopped in a long time. The linens and towels were clean but for some reason the hotel is very stingy with them. The mattresses were way too firm.

The bathroom was fine and I was pleasantly surprised to see dispensers for the soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The shower head head only had one setting and that was a stream of water so that probably needs to be replaced.

The heater/AC unit worked really well.

The staff was a mixed basket of pleasant and unapproachable. The desk staff in the evening was very welcoming, but the staff in the morning looked like they wanted to fight.

The provided breakfast is your standard free hotel breakfast.

The wi-fi likely has only one router located in the office area. And once you get a few rooms past the office you don't have a signal. So it's pretty much non-existent for most rooms.

All in all it was a mid hotel in a quiet town. Stay here because it's cheap, but manage your expectations.

The room was nice enough, but at this price point I would have hoped for at least some bare bones amenities. It was clean and comfortable, but rather spartan. The most notable things were the lack of any comfortable seating in the room, the odd TV layout in relation to the bed, and nothing besides soap furnished in the bathroom. This was my first time in Sandwich and I was actually pleasantly surprised by the quality of the town.
