Beautiful kayaking just don't poke your kayak in that hollow cypress you see in that picture. A gator was watching my sister and I from under us while set idle looking up in the tree. She was just chomping away on her cookies and decided to look into the water and saw the eyes just below the surface watching her. Don't miss the mermaid pool just a few hundred feet from the boat launch area upstream on the left. A pretty little shallow boil to wade in. I suggest going on a weekday. We were the only ones there.

This is a beautiful place to go with the family it has the beautiful Santa Fe River and it also has the beautiful rum Island spring connected. It's so unique because you get to see beautiful Wildlife Birds Gators and manatee in the Santa Fe River you can float down it on tubes or a boat. There are no animals allowed at this certain spring. The parking is very slim not a lot of parking so if you want to get here and have a good day you better get there as early as they open. Do not park where it says no parking you will be towed and the cops will come and make it happen very quickly. We know because we experienced it ourself a week ago. The spring and River are so cool because they can combine but the beautiful spring water never turns dark like the river in the river is only dark because of the cypress trees. You can Grill here they have bathrooms here also you have the beautiful spring to swim in Crystal Clear. Everyone should come and experience this beautiful little rum Island it was a lot of fun for me and my family.

Much smaller then most of the other springs you'll visit, limited parking only 38 spaces. Fills up quickly. One main spring in the roped off swimming area, beyond the ropes you'll find 4 much smaller spring vents. A short walk through the woods with bring you to Jonathan Springs and very small but beautiful spot. And just a few steps away you'll stumble upon a hidden spring in the river. Unless you know where it is, many have paddled right past it.

Simply amazing land.. clear and quiet Sante Fe river, nice trail, clean bathrooms and the spring is so lovely and clear! Wish it was warmer so I could swim

Clyde and I took the kiddos to Rum Island for Memorial Day Saturday. It was MUCH busier than usual. All the Springs were full. We enjoyed ourselves. Love Rum Island🏖 Blessed Memorial Day week everyone🇺🇲

A backroads spring located off the Santa Fe River outside of Fort White, Fl. Nice place to spend a hot day with the kids. Restrooms on the grounds as well as a roped off swim area. Picnic tables and grills are available on a 1st come basis.

Beautiful spring to enjoy while kayaking the Santa Fe River. On of our stops while kayaking to stretch our legs and cool off. It's usually not to busy. And it's easy to kayak up to. There are a couple boat/kayak launches at the park as well.

These folks ROCK. We've used them in the past, and they are still on their game.
The new addition of a shower facility takes this company to a new level. It is sure nice to ride back home (Jacksonville) after cleaning up.
People are awesome!
Highly recommend these guys!
