This was a wonderful stay in Brenham! The happy hour and the breakfast was amazing. I loved learning about the history of this beautiful home. The bed was super comfortable and the shared bathroom was very clean. Only a 10 minute walk to town and lots of great restaurants nearby. We enjoyed chatting with Cynthia and her daughter Peggy about the house and can't wait to return.

What a fantastic stay for a girlfriend's trip!! The house is beautiful with incredible architectural details. The location is great with easy walking to shopping and restaurants. The hosts are fantastic and made us feel very much at home. Most important to me are the Beds and the Breakfasts and both get rave reviews!! Comfortable beds with crisp linens and the most fantastic breakfast spreads-Eggs Benedict, the best bacon I've ever had, fresh fruit, fresh scones...and that was just the first morning!! We really enjoyed the evening cocktail hour too with lovely wines and yet another spread of appetizers; almost a meal in itself!! We will definitely be back!!

Wonderful restored Victorian home full of antiques and character with a friendly and gracious hostess. Cynthia and her daughter Peggy made us feel at home at once. Comfortable bed, fluffy towels, wonderful accouterments in the room and bathroom. Happy hour was also a special treat and the breakfast was amazing. Walking distance to downtown and also a great italian restaurant, Volare, is across the street. No TV here which was much appreciated. Read, relax and visit with nice people. We will return.....

We love every minute we spend at Ross Carrol Bennett bed and breakfast. Our room is clean and beautiful. The private bathroom has everything we need. Cynthia is so friendly and fun to talk with. She made delicious breakfast. The breakfast portion is big. We were so filled. We didn't eat lunch. The happy hour was a nice touch. Cynthia was so nice to make reservation for us at Volare Italian restaurant. The restaurant is in within walking distance from the bed and breakfast. Good food and nice theme.

Our family rented all four rooms which made it an excellent place for us to play games in the evenings in the parlor. The hostess fed us royally at breakfast and at happy hour - you may not need to go out to eat because you can fill up on goodies, including wines, mimosas, etc. The home is gorgeous and decorated with period pieces. At Christmas the extra Christmas decorations were galore! The hostess has pets and a lot of antiques not suitable for children. The amenities in the bathrooms were more than I expected in terms of toiletries. Clean robes, plush towels, candies, and homemade bedside treats. New mattresses slept well. Wow! Don't miss this great place if you go near Brenham, it's worth it. Two blocks from downtown Brenham shops and restaurants. The owner lives on the 2nd floor and is friendly and warm but will amazingly stay out of your way when not serving food.

Our family rented all four rooms in December 2020 which made for a wonderful time in the evenings because we played games in the parlor. The hostess provides a wonderful experience and will treat you royally. The food is plentiful at both breakfast and happy hour. The amenities exceeded my expectations, from bedside treats, robes, plush towels, and a solid supply of toiletries. The location is 2 blocks from downtown Brenham shopping and restaurants. The hostess is warm and friendly and the home is gorgeous. Owner has antiques that are not child-proofed. Best appreciated by adults who enjoy being wined and dined in a historical relaxing setting. Really, you shouldn't miss out on this.
