The rooms are newly updated and are perfectly acceptable. But the fishing trip was superb! Captain Bo White took excellent care of us, from keeping shiners on our hooks to sorting out any issues with line or reels. His friendly demeanor coupled with deep knowledge of where to fish made it a great day. From seasoned anglers to this beginner, we all were successful. Dinner at the Marina Tiki bar the night before was good food and staff was attentive. Take your mosquito spray if you're out at dusk or dawn.

We had a great time visiting Roland Marina! Myself, husband and 10 year old daughter came from the East Coast to spend the night for an early fishing trip with Bo the next morning. Our fishing experience with Bo was 10/10!!! He was awesome with our daughter who was excited for her first fishing trip and we caught a ton of fish!

We had a nice dinner with live music at the tiki bar and no complaints on the hotel accommodations. We look forward to the next time!

This is the one of the only decent spots in the area; however, we were very disappointed upon arrival. My family was seated in the “service dog” seating area, as one family member has a certified, and very well trained service dog. This “area”, which was the only 3 tables in the entire restaurant that had direct sun with no umbrellas or shade relief for service animals. This is inhumane to those with disabilities and their service animals.

The overall experience at Roland Martin’s Marina and Resort was fantastic! Our captain, Bo, was an absolute pleasure. He put us on fish every single day, and our boat ended up catching the most fish of the weekend. I can’t wait to come back and fish with him again!

As for the resort, the rooms were excellent, with new beds and furniture that made our stay comfortable. The Tiki Bar was the perfect touch, offering great food, a fun atmosphere, and fantastic service. It was the perfect spot for us to hang out all night after a full day of fishing.

We had an amazing time, and I highly recommend both the resort and Captain Bo. We’ll definitely be back!

Down for a fishing trip the first part of January with friends. Weather was not the best. The condo was very nice. The restaurant and bar was a good atmosphere and good food. Already have a return trip in March

Staff was great, rooms were clean, food was good . So I gotta be honest..
I booked a trip with Mr Roland himself. Was great experience talking with him, but I was disappointed on a few things one was I didn't come to shinner ( I was told I would have the option) fish but he told the lady he got 4 dz and she wrote it down on my sheet we only used a half dz. All five rods I used were missing 2 or more guides some were missing and the rest were bent or mashed. 2 reels the handles were so loose and all of them were horrible sounding like rocks and sand paper .. one you had to manually pop up the the thumb button I'm order for it to work. His live scope was not working or hasn't been for some time he said .. he offered me lunch before noon I told wasn't hungry yet never had my lunch offered again.. so I never ate all day. For 1500 definitely not worth it plus the 4dz shiners that I was billed for.....he's a great guy tho..

Arrived by boat on our way westbound across the lake. Floating dock was perfect, staff friendly and helpful. Xavier did a fantastic job taking care of us for drinks and dinner and really make our visit FUN. We'll be back!

We stopped into the Tiki Bar on our way back from a trip to the keys. It was not the first time that we had been there and it did not disappoint. The location is outstanding and the Tiki Bar itself is excellent. It is, as always, clean, spacious and has a very inviting atmosphere.

The food, for the most part, was good. I had the shrimp and grits, which was outstanding. My wife had the burger which she found dry and our friends had the rib eye and Chicken Alfredo. The steak was very good but the Alfredo was very bland and it was disapointung.
That said, the waitress looked after us and took it off the bill as well as informing the management. For me, bad meals, even at the best locations, can happen. What is important is what they do about it. In this case the right action was taken. We will be back
