Great Campground - Campsites are nice and well kept. Shower house is always clean. Staff is super friendly. Nice boat ramp. Massive fishing pier. We were there for hunting and the dual skinning racks came in very handy. Two winches for hanging and skinning game. Hose with countertops for cleaning fish. The cabins are nice We stayed in our travel trailer. If we draw another hunt in the area we'll definitely stay at the campground again.

We have stayed here multiple times over the years. Love it everytime. My husband does a lot of fishing. This trip was extra amazing because the a/c and bedding seems to be new and we have never had such good sleep! So comfy in the little cabins! Always love a getaway here!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We recently stayed at this beautiful campsite while escaping Hurricane Milton from Florida, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt safe and at home. Jennifer in the front office, along with the entire staff, were incredibly helpful and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible.

The park itself is stunning, with well-maintained facilities, beautiful scenery, and a peaceful atmosphere. We truly enjoyed every moment—whether it was relaxing by the campfire, exploring the park, or just taking in the natural beauty. Our time here gave us the perfect escape we needed.

Thank you to everyone at the campsite for making our stay so wonderful! We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a five-star camping experience. We’ve got so many great photos and videos to remember our time here!

This place is a hidden gem. We stayed in one of the cabins. They have very nice piers to fish off of. Small hiking trails and friendly staff! Everything was very clean a tidy. We will be back. Only thing I would recommend they need is a small kids playground

The road to the park is very beat up with lots of potholes. The service was very subpar. We got all hooked up, including all our sewer hookups just to find out that the electricity box did not work so we had to change sites. I think if you are fisherman, this may be a good park to go to. We just stopped for a couple days on our way to the beach, but we probably would choose another place in the future.

We stayed here for 10 days and I loved it. It does get busy but you actually get your own space and you're not up in the neighbors living room camper..lol The beautiful sunsets over the water and the fishing was fun too. A lot of wildlife in the area and the birds I could listen to for hours. They do have fire pits for each site, water and sewer hookups. Also showers, bathrooms, hiking trails, pavilions, small park and boat ramp. You can also rent cabins here or even pop up a tent. The park rangers are very friendly, kind and willing to help with anything. We did try to rent kayaks but unfortunately they didn't have any in working conditions. Overall a great place to camp I'd definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay at Roland Cooper State park, but there’s not much to do here if you’re not fishing. The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. The sites are spacious. Their hiking trails were closed due to lack of upkeep. The main bathroom/shower was decent and not necessarily dirty, but was obviously never cleaned while we were here. There were dead bugs all in the floor that never got swept up. The mens restroom only had toilet paper in one stall that was almost gone by the time we left. The other bathrooms appeared to not have adequate upkeep, as well. The sunsets from the dock were amazing!

The cabins are a bit dated but functional. The view from the deck cannot be beat and it's beautiful to just sit, relax & watch the sunset on the water. The hosts are just fabulous and so nice! It's also great to have a place where we can stay with our dogs. The area around the cabin was neat & tidy; we loved the picnic table and building a fire in the evenings. It was all so peaceful and quiet and we'll definitely be back again!
Notes - Do be sure & take paper towels and dish soap! And, if you enjoy cooking, you might want to bring your own utensils as the ones provided are an odd collection & rather cheap. Even still, it is SO worth staying here!
