The ambiance is very relaxing. The beer was surprisingly very good. I didn't know what to expect, and this place delivered. The barrel aged beers were very good, and the sours/funky stuff were great too. Definitely worth a trip! I will be going back for sure.

Hands down the best beer in NW Illinois, and probably beyond. I love their cask selection, their Heffe is the best (note available seasonally only), and an excellent English bitter. Would highly recommend a stop there if you are ever in the Lake Zurich area.

Awesome tap room, with an upscale lounge feel. Brewing area is absolutely immaculate and cool to look at from the seating area. The beer itself looks like it’s on the up and up. Execution seems to be there but end result isn’t quite there yet. Maybe a couple years of refining processes will result in top notch beer. Good place for wine drinkers too, pretty decent selection of bottles. Kid friendly up until the evening when it’s 21+. Nice touch that they have a little arcade area for them too. In house snacks or bring your own/delivery of food. Pricing is semi-above average for a suburban brewery. Glad to have ran across this place!

Everything is top-notch. Great selection. Something for everyone! Dark, light, Czech, and smoked lagers, Irish, Imperial, and barrel-aged stouts, barrel-aged barleywines, IPAs, porters, a good wine selection and beautiful glassware. Staff is great, and the vibe is mellow, with a nice local community feel.

Update for 2024: It's been 6 years and this is still one of my favorite breweries 🍻. Tuba Solo and Tarts Desire are probably my favorites, though there's always something new for me to appreciate. Previous review from 2018 - A fun, cozy atmosphere with outdoor seating, and fantastic beer! Yes, this is in a strip mall, yet you would never know it once you step inside, with a Midwest modern feel to the furnishings, a great view of the industrial brewing equipment and the welcoming and quick service. Each of the four samples I tried were unique and delicious, with the heffeweissbier "Secret Beach" being my favorite. They serve snacks, and you are welcome to bring in your takeout, or order in - their menu even lists local choices. #roaringtable

Roaring Table has a tasty beer for every preference, with a great selection of lagers, IPAs, stouts, porters, and saisons. They have beers on regular taps, nitro taps and cask. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Regularly have a food option or bring your own dinner/order in.

Fine selection of good beers. Especially enjoyed "Zuricher". Had a flight with Alison, hefeweizen, stout and kettle sour, all were good. Wine is also available. Grilled cheese sandwiches from GRIL. Fancy bar snacks are also available. Nice atmosphere, good service.

Great atmosphere, and an even better beer selection. They've always got new additions to their tap list. The head brewer is the nicest guy ever and very humble. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. They constantly have tasty food trucks and fun events going on. Aside from all those major pluses, it could be a dumpster and I'd still go there all the time because the beers are so great.
