Pleasant, free ride at 8 stops along the New River. Pros: free, relaxing views, captain gives you a mini tour of the sites, clean, well kept boat. Cons: there's not a reliable schedule so you may be waiting for a long time (the tracking app did not accurately show where the trolley was); it's a very small boat so you may be skipped if the boat is full; quantity of childrens' life preservers determines how many children are allowed on; not handicapped accessible; no pier nor gangplank so you must be very careful getting on and off. I saw one person trip and fall as they got off the boat. Boat is not tied to a piling, it is just bumped up against the seawall.

It's a great way to get around Riverwalk in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. It operates from The Museum of Discovery and Science and goes to The Tunnel area of Las Olas. The ride is free. However, the boat captains do appreciate tips.

The family and I would like to see something like this in our neck of the woods, and it was free. It's not too long and not too short. The guide was very informative as we were going through the river. The water was not very rough. But there were a lot of boats in the channel. I definitely would recommend it, and let's not forget this is free.

Great short Water Trolley Boat ride for free too. But Awful experience.: When this whole bunch of people rudely cut off the line and boarded without any consequences for being so disrespectful. What a Behavior!! Suggestion: This could be better managed by the city by providing a “Take the number” dispenser since some people are SO rude and won’t respect the wait line. Nice idea to have a choice for a short FREE RIDE boat 👍🏻 and Captain Rob was very diligent

Riverwalk is beautiful and full of entertainment. The Riverwalk Water Trolley is free and a fun way to visit the stops. We started at the Esplanade Park and walked until the stop past fhe bridge where we took the water trolley. Be aware that you may get confused because it says water taxi and is yellow as the other water taxi that you have to pay (this one is bigger). We stopped at las Olas and had dinner in Cheesecake Factory and Drinks at Ann's (the flower cafè). Everything was good! Beautiful merchandise in the chlothing store... a very pleasant experience. I recommend and will hopefully come back.

I was expecting an informative tour about the celebrities that lived along the river and historic information. But most of the information was about how much the yachts were worth parked along the river and how long they've been parked there. The advertise Wayne huizinga's six properties and their website yet they mentioned nothing about it and didn't even point it out on the tour. I don't care how much a yacht costs and how long it's been sitting there. On a positive note one of the stops was at the galleria Mall. I don't think it's worth $25 per person. If I use the water taxi again, I would use the free one.
