Only giving 1 star because I can't leave negative stars. This place is dispicable... Booked the king suite with jacuzzi tub and balcony for my husband son and I to celebrate our birthdays. We paid 264 plus tax plus a $100 deposit, the place advertises having a heated indoor pool. Arrive at check in and ask what time the pool closes and she says it's out of service 2 weeks someone threw beer bottle inside water and glass bottle floating in there. I said oh man we only booked the room for the purpose of swimmin, Then said you know what it's OK we have a jacuzzi in the room we can make the best of it. She proceeds to tell me the room isn't available and we would be in a 1 queen bed room. I said I would like to be refunded I paid for a 2 room suite with separate living room for my 8 year old son to play his games in
She said well no room available, mind you I paid for the suite in advance. She told me no to talking to the manager, no to calling hotels.Com to see what the mix up is and was rude as hell. Then the owner comes in and is just as rude can hardly understand English and is not even trying to help or understand my frustration. While all this is happening there are 3 men in the lobby on the couch loud and drinking beer bottles with empty nip bottles all around them on the floor, a man at the front desk with a crack pipe in his hand and the whole place smelled horrible. I will NEVER book a room here again and would never recommend. Moving forward I will actually be spreading the word to everyone i can about the conditions at this crack hotel.

My first night the bed was absolutely terrible hard as a rock. Woke up and couldn’t move went down & told them I would extend it another night but needed a different bed… Paid for another night the new room wasn’t ready & we left for a little while. Upon returning around 5pm I go to get the new room key only to find out all the beds are the same… So I ask for a refund for the room. Nit expecting a full refund because our stuff was still in the room… I paid $132 for the night at 9:30am the new room wasn’t ready until 1pm & now being only 5pm.. I was then informed I would only be refunded $60 less then half of what I paid. Make it Make sense. Check in 3pm check out 11am. Room not ready until 1pm it’s 5pm and still have 18 hours in the room which could have been rented to someone else because we didn’t touch anything at all in the room. Your only gonna refund me $60 basically forcing us to either lose a ridiculous amount of money or be forced to stay there… Ended up staying again not to just throw away the money & now both of us have appointments tomorrow morning at the chiropractor.. Also they offer an indoor pool which was the only reason we even booked it there only to find out it’s out of order!!! NO BUENO

Very mediocre. It's a place to lay your head for the night. Nothing above and beyond, but nothing horrible. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are exactly what you would expect. Bed, shower, TV. I did find it nice that most rooms have a balcony attached, which was a nice touch that most places don't have. Unfortunately the pool was out of commission for our visit which was definitely a bummer.... Would have been nice to have been compensated since we weren't able to enjoy one of the amenities. Also the lobby is locked at night and you have to call and basically wake someone up to come help you if you need anything. Which I understand but I felt bad doing. The location is perfect for me. Restaurant right next door, and a river to fish right in back. Some nice size stripers too! Picture is attached. The room definitely wasn't the cleanest, but it was acceptable for the price and what you'd expect for the kind of hotel this is. I would recommend the Riverview for sure if you're looking for a mid range place to stay. They do accept cash as payment as well and the deposit is $100, which you get back when you check out as long as you're respectful and don't trash the place. Thanks for a great stay !

I'm very disappointed. I booked this hotel to celebrate my daughter's birthday because it says it has an indoor pool. We arrived and nobody told us at the front desk that the pool was closed for repairs. This was the main reason we came. Thankfully we booked a room with a jetted tub. At least she gets to have fun in there. If we had fun I was going to book a room here for a week when we go on vacation but I will probably not be returning. So sad. If only the pool was open my review would have been completely different.

The outlets were too loose to hold a plug in the wall, other than that comfortable room with a nice balcony view. Slight issue with booking system, and pool was down during our stay. Not a huge deal just inconvenient.

Will not stay again. The room wasn’t cleaned properly at all. Sheets changed that’s about it. The pool was not in service yet called earlier and spoke to representative an was never informed when I asked about late check out etc… The shower an tub I wouldn’t even shower with my flip flops on that’s how gross I felt. I guess I shouldn’t complain because it’s indoors an it’s a cold night but when your paying for a hotel room an it’s $160 for the night a $100 deposit it be nice if it was cleaner. Looked like someone wiped poop on the floor an closet floor just overall not satisfied at all

Check in was a little stiff and straightforward. Room was very nice. I got a room with a balcony and The View was fantastic. Would absolutely recommend staying here to friends and family or anyone else looking for a room for the night. My kids loved the pool.

Staff was very friendly rooms were very clean ! Was satisfied with the room ! However the Maine reason we went to that location was because of the “heated pool” needless to say the pool was not the warmest but we made do with what we had . Over all not a bad place to stay. But not the best .
