We always experience the art fair at this park. So nicely laid out with places to rest. There are also permanent artists cottages. Right next door to the Everglades Wonder Garden, a gem in itself. Down the street from the Shangra La Resort. Cool throwback to the 20's when people came to the spa for medicinal waters.

There are really three parks in a row, Riverside Park, Depot Park and Island Park. Just depending on which side of the railroad tracks (no longer operational) and which side of the bridge you are on. I walk my dogs here every week when in town. It’s really β€œOld Florida” at its best.

If you are in the neighborhood, stop at Riverside Park, and you
will see a giant Banyan tree. This is not a busy tourist area, and
there are parking spaces just close to the tree. Relax, and walk around it, and take a look at those long heavy branches!!

Beautiful down town park with restaurants close by. There's also a play ground for kid about 100yd away at depo park across the railroad track. This place host many events throughout the year from music to taste of bonita, then they usually host a Halloween and a Christmas even at this nice down town park! This down town hidden gem Has lots to offer. There's even a out door church that uses the area on Sunday morning for there service. Oh and one last thing it's a great place to sit and watch the 4th of July parade roll by.

We went for a concert. Bring your lawn chairs; there are plenty of places to set up and get comfortable. Very enjoyable entertainment. Then walk 1/5 mile to For Heaven's Shakes for ice cream.
