I found Rio Grande Adventures Big Bend on the local "Turlingua Map It Out" guide available in those big displays of tourist information. They are on the map at D7 - the Lajitas Trails by the Lajitas airport. I booked a MTB tour online. The day before Henry, my guide, texted me to confirm. We met at the trailhead at 9AM as planned and spent about 3 hours peddling the trails. The wind picked up but we had a great time with great scenery. The ride didn't require any particular technical skills (though there were 3 or so short steep ascents) but being a solid trail rider in decent shape definitely helps. Henry was a great guide providing a nice introduction to the trails for a first-time visitor. I'll definitely be back.
