Rincon Parkway offers an incredible experience if you’re looking to park your RV or trailer right on the ocean. Waking up to the sound of waves and having the beach just steps away is hard to beat. The beach itself is beautiful, with plenty of soft sand in certain spots, though some areas can be a bit tricky to access due to rocks—especially if you’re not parked in one of the prime locations.

It’s important to note that this campground is right off the main highway, so if you have small kids or pets, you’ll need to be extra cautious. The only restroom facilities are Porta potties, and there are no hookups, so come prepared to dry camp.

Overall, the oceanfront views and vibe make it worth it, but just be aware of the trade-offs.

Basic camping with one specific amenity that makes it pretty awesome. 10 feet from the beach. Beyond that don't expect much. No hookups, no bathrooms or laundry. Well there's a porta potty or two and a couple dumpsters for trash but you're paying for the view and sounds of the pacific ocean. Affordable pricing.

Even though it is on the Hwy, it still has one of the most beautiful ocean views. You can hear the ocean crashing into the rocks all night long.. this has become one of our favorite spots..

Amazing spot right on the water for viewing the dolphins and wales swimming by. Beach access. Sites are pretty close to each other which is why I have it 4 ⭐️. The breakfast burrito was amazing at the shack with really friendly staff.

After staying here a few nights to go to Channel Islands. I feel this place is a lot of money just to boondock. There was a big concrete wall in front of our site so we couldn’t hardly see the water. People were parked closer to Faria beach in the no parking sign area for free and unhooking to do stuff. With plenty of police driving by turning a blind eye. However since there are not many options otherwise do what you have to do.

This is a great place to do one thing- look at a beautiful ocean. If you go to the beach to look at the beach, you will dig it here. If, however, you like to do more than sit and look at the beach there is literally nothing you can do here. Also, the sites are crammed together, so there is no privacy.

Cars are flying by all night on the highway just a few feet from the parkway and it’s also just near a railroad so it makes the spot very very noisy. Plus there there is no hook up, no access to the beach, no security, no check in. Other RVs seemed to be parked for free a little further the parkway. I would not call this a campground. We’ve been fooled by the sea view on photos but overall you’re paying for a noisy parking spot.

This RV camping location in Southern California is exceptionally picturesque and offers a no-frills experience. It stands out from any comparable sites in Orange County. Ventura County Parks deserves recognition for establishing this excellent destination for RV enthusiasts.

Having visited this location over 25 times with family and friends, we consistently feel excitement as we exit the 101 freeway onto Pacific Coast Highway. It's important to note that only fully contained RVs with functional grey water tanks and bathrooms are permitted.

Reservations must be made three months in advance, particularly during the spring and summer seasons. The reservation process is entirely online, requiring only the provision of your RV license plate. Upon arrival, the Ranger will verify the license plate, making the check-in process remarkably simple. Check-in time is 12:00 PM, and check-out time is 11:00 AM. We will be back soon!
