This hotel’s management will make up rules and policies on the spot if they are in a bad mood, they very clearly do not want business from traveling families. Love the rooms at this hotel, the pool, hot tub and grill space are great amenities…if the ridiculous manager on duty will let you use them. The manager on-site harassed us for violating policies and rules of the pool that are not posted anywhere for us to follow. Another family around the pool told us that they had a similar experience when they were told that no parties were allowed at the grill area when all they were doing was having dinner with the members of the family staying at the hotel. Whatever this lady’s name is, she needs to face disciplinary action by corporate or this hotel needs to be changed to adults only. They very clearly don’t want revenue from families, this place is NOT kid friendly and the manager is the problem.

We were so happy with our stay. My son had to have surgery at Stanford and the hotels close to Stanford are so expensive. Thankfully we found this hotel and it was only 20 minutes from the hospital. ||We stayed in a Queen/Queen suite and it was perfect for us. The beds were comfortable, the living room area was spacious and the kitchen worked out perfectly. We only stayed two nights, but I can see how someone could stay several weeks as it truly has everything needed for a nice stay. I absolutely LOVED the small dishwasher. There were so many cabinets throughout the room as well as shelves for storage. ||I was only able to enjoy the complimentary breakfast one morning and I will say it wasn't my favorite but it was okay. Breakfast ended at 9:30 am and I arrived around 8:50 am. Most of the items were already gone and they weren't restocking. So my suggestion is to get there earlier for the best options. ||I am a travel agent as well and will definitely recommend this hotel to my clients!

The hotel service was polite, friendly, and efficient. My room was spacious and clean. All what you come to expect from Marriott. I stayed for four nights for a business trip. I will definitely stay here again.

Location near public transportation, pool , weight room, breakfast variety was healthy, I felt free to do laundry, eat , and communicate well with different cultures. I think all it needed was a dance floor or live jazz band to make it a perfect 10 . So 9.7 with a 0.3 addiction to them when they add music to this vacation resort. Great job on how clean and professional every person was , very respectful customers, employees, and look so new. Handicap friendly environment.

This was the best Residence Inn I have stayed at yet. The rooms were clean and updated. The facilities were nice and well kept. The staff were super friendly and attentive. My only feedback would be that the breakfast could be improved a bit.

I cannot check in to the room I paid for and have to wait out in the car because their system is backing up and the front desk lady said there’s nothing she can do and that it’s my fault for checking in at 1:30 when they do their backup. It’s a freaking hotel. People check in at all odd hours. We have to pee and have been driving 7+ hours lol. This is dumb. $218 for a room and we can’t even check in right away and get some sleep. It’s BS

This is a suite hotel. I stayed here a few times; the rooms are relatively large and comfortable. Better than average cleanliness for the area. The service has improved a bit over the years. The downtown San Carlos and the train station are a few blocks away.
