Even though this hotel is currently undergoing major renovations our stay here wasn't impacted at all by the work going on, our room was very clean and comfortable and the new owners and staff were super friendly. We were here for the multi-day RV show on the BIG E property across the street so the location was perfect for us to just walk back and forth, we'll definitely stay here again next year and look forward to seeing the progress of the renovations!

This place has had renovations and is still working through its transitions. With that said, I have stayed a couple of times, and both times were great. The location is in a neighborhood and quiet yet still close to dining out. It has an old school appeal and charm. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Old reviews had me worried, but new management has done a great job in a very short amount of time! Room was clean, bed very comfortable, and staff friendly! It’s clearly a work in progress but I’m excited to see improvements continue!

This rating is based on VALUE. I was getting big 3 digit rate quotes from the local chain hotels so decided to look locally. Amy was so pleasant sounding on the phone I wanted to check it out. Near downtown, on Main St, this renovated motel looked great: fresh looking paint, new doors, tasteful colors, cared for parking lot and CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN. Amy offered to show me a room: new floors, good lighting, new looking windows, standard motel furniture in good condition, new looking towels, bed clean, nice AC unit, spotless bathroom with new looking fixtures, good refrigerator, microwave, desk and comfy chair. No frills, but nothing missing and all fresh, unworn, and clean. With very polite, helpful service from Amy (she’s a keeper!). And…$85! Woo hoo! Great value. I would definitely stay here again. (My only photo is taken at night.)

Let’s start with we arrived and waited in the front hall (lobby) which was about 5 minutes, then a person that looked like joe smith came by and said he works there, he stated you need to call a number to get a person to come but you still need to wait for them to come to the front.
Next, we was shown the room and the first thing that noticed was a poor moldy type smell in both room and hall ways. We are now in the room and check to see if the bathroom is clean and to our great surprise the toilet is not at all clean. They did send the cleaning lady to clean the bathroom “again”.
While the lady was cleaning the room we continual to inspect the room as being in a dirty room is not what you want and if she could clean what was needed that would be great. In the course of checking out the room found dirty headboard, picture frames, the furniture was falling apart, the air filter and the vents was dirty. Lady took care of most of this as she could.
Now as we was staying there for 3 nights and was not able to go to another hotel we stayed as much as we did not have any desire to. We notice in the hallway a lot of issue like garbage bags in hall, bedding left on floor over night, hall not cleaned, tables in lobby dirty, the lighting over the counter in lobby at lights were gross looking . Vending marching unplugged and laying on floor where person needs to walk. House keeping cart left in hall for overnight and day.
But the best part is the lighting in the room was falling off the wall, the toilet when you was sitting rocked and the toilet paper holder was not attached to the sink cabinet, it was on top of the sink, the iron board was not attached to the holder on the wall and fall over when the wife was hanging the clothing with the 3 hangers that was in the room. No long mirror on the wall but the holes was still there, the ceiling you could see the seams for the drywall.
Okay this is more then enough, by the way I have photos of all of thieve issues after the initial lady coming to clean. If at all don’t stay here, not very good at dealing with customs and get told that the front person need to still has stuff to learn from the “manager”.

My husband and friends have stayed there for the past few years. The people are so hospitable. The Rooms are clean and relaxing. It's not new but it's like staying at a friends house. Comfortable and safe. Not fancy if that is what your looking for. The coffee and food are fresh and staff are helpful.
Small but quaint. Nothing I could find wrong with the place unless you don't like staying in an older type of hotel. Has got basic needs and it's clean safe and friendly..what more do you want for the price?

Never again! Didn’t feel safe! We at least had holly the hooker pacing the lot keeping us safe! Lol! Mold in bathroom, stains on sheets!Ceiling in the bathroom leaking all night. Ground floor windows have no locks! All the furniture was broken or damaged in some way. Someone was smoking weed in their room. ( not against it, but it was labeled as a smoke free hotel.) currently trying to check out but no one is here and it’s been almost an hour.

Really enjoyed our stay, we stood for 3 days. Very clean, the price is right. Great customer service. Yes, the place is dated and a bit old fashioned, but I liked that, very comfortable. Very secure and safe. Video surveillance outside and in the hotel. Beds are very comfortable, pillows are great, shower is hot and has great pressure, plus it has 2 heads. Large rooms with plenty of space for storage. I definitely, would stay here again.
