Let me start by saying there is nothing left of the "Oasis" part, which would have actually saved the disparity of the room. Despite reviews and the website, THERE IS NO POOL, THERE IS NO BANQUET AREA, THERE IS NO TIKI AREA. The pool has been filled in the make a parking lot, and the banquet area/tiki area has been sold to a tire place.||||The rooms themselves are filthy. Someone in India actualy owns the place and is not present on the property. The only workers are an Indian couple who live upstairs there. They are nice enough. But, if you get locked out of your room while no one's there, too bad. ||||I've watched them "clean". They use 1 rag and 1 spray bottle between all the rooms. The bathroom is not clean. In the 9 weeks straight I was there, they did not change my sheets once (I made marks to check). 50% of the rooms don't get hot water. If you can get past dingy, hair-littered sheets, stained towels, disgusting carpet, and mildew fridges, the worst part about this place was the mold. I had to re-wash most of my clothes that I didn't even wear because there is no ventilation, and every surface gets covered in literally under 2 weeks. Imagine what you're breathing in.||||I also want to note, that for $50-$60/night, the Reeds clientelle is always sketchy and loud, at best.||||No laundry, pay for ice. The bathroom walls have holes directly to the outside.||||Spend the extra $20 and stay in Sebring.

The pictures of their rooms and amenities that they advertise are false. They do not have a pool and the room are not updated and luxurious like the pics. Also you have to pay for ice. The rooms do have a nice size refrigerator and a microwave and cold A/C. They have the shampoo, cond. ,and hand soap, and lotion dispensers on the wall which is nice.

I was pleasantly surprised by this motel. I had to stop for the night as I was passing through and stopped because one other person had rated it well. It had a flat screen TV, mini fridge, microwave, a table and chairs for two, and Seattle's Best Coffee in the room. The room was clean, owners were very friendly, and price was reasonable.

I stayed here a few years ago. The owner is a loud, mean drunk. I called the front desk after returning to my room to report that my belongings had obviously been gone through. I was confronted by the owners in a belligerent manner. I then went to dinner. I got back to the room to find EVERYTHING had been thrown on the floor and items were missing. They barged into my room after I had gone to bed and was fast asleep. They charged me $150.00 for smoking in the room when I don't smoke. They gave me the option of shutting up or being arrested. Redneck inbreds.

It would be OK if all you want is a clean bed. But, don't expect a hot shower, sufficient towels, or 2 cups of coffee in the morning. ||The working guys chatting outside to door and departing at 6 am are not a problem, unless you did not need to get up early.||Oh, and be careful to get in early so you have somewhere to park.

This int all that it a roach motels for the money at least it should be cleaned I noticed they don't change the sheets st all don't waste ur time,money,on a garbage place for the same money go to holiday inn or the magnesum at least u get free breakfast in both these place for cheaper rate just so u know the roaches r every where in this hotel no good that's all inhale to say about this roach motel

I survived the first night, following hurricane Irma's clean up efforts. When my reservations were canceled elsewhere, Reed's was just like an oasis. They had a vacancy when others were full or damaged. My work here, critical to the infrastructure, will be more efficient without having to travel to Tampa daily. Although long gone is the dining facility and pool, the neon diver at the marquee is a friendly welcoming beacon, bringing back memories of an Era before rush hour traffic and hi effecient hvac, a time nearly half a century ago when life was simple and more relaxed, just like my first night, I am more relaxed and ready to face the insanity the days of restoration ahead will hold.
Thank you Reed's, I believe that I will stay another night or maybe more, as we all need a reboot now and then. Ralph from Tampa.

Looks like it's being remodeled but needs more work.. possible love stains on the covers . Happy I brought my own blanket . And pillows. Other than that it's clean and affordable .
