Do NOT book your group of linemen here. I had 32 guys in there last night and they said it was loud and partying all night from other guests. Mold in the showers. When they arrived to check in, the place was surrounded by cops. After working out in the snow and ice for 16hrs, we needed a warm, clean place to rest for the next day of 16hrs outdoors. This place was NOT at all a place for a crew like ours. Happily, some rooms at another hotel opened up for the rest of the week and we will be moving on to that location. The staff was super nice. Booking was MUCH more difficult here than at any other major chain hotel. I needed to wait to get contacted by a booking agent at an offsite call center. Not ideal for someone like us that needs to find 32 rooms in a sea full off other thousands of linemen/tree trimmers, etc. that are trying to secure booking in/around the same area. We want to know immediately if there are rooms available, not an hour later. We knew going into this that it wasn't going to be what we are used to when we go on storm work but there were zero other options within 2hr driving distance.

Stayed here for a few weeks with my partner. The hotel is overall really nice and clean. It seemed newly renovated. The downside though is the people in management at the Red Roof. The manager is a very stubborn, miserable person. We were never greeted by her, despite feeling an urge to say hello, we were fended off by her nasty energy. You can hear her yelling at staff from inside the rooms too, which ultimately contributed to onsetting me and my partners anxiety. The manager is also hypocritical because hotel guests here were going out to smoke, but she still gave us a hard time with a nasty letter on the door stating that we needed to be 25 FT away from the building, even though she smokes in the maintenance area / staff room and visible ashtrays next to the doors, on top of the trash cans. I always had seen her with cigarettes headed in there, but never smoking them outside. She also does have multiple animals in her room which makes her a hypocrite to her own hotel policy, in relation to pets. The maids and front desk though are fantastic. They were very respectful and helpful. Overall I would give the Red Roof in South Deerfield a rating of 2.5/5. It was an average stay, but could’ve been better if they were more welcoming towards guests.

Jen is the greatest front of counter person. She should get a raise and be president of the company. She is so good. My rooms were clean. My life here is happy. Deb is fantastic. They always try to accommodate me the best way they can. I can’t say enough about this place. I will never stay in any other motel ever again Other than this place. The rooms are well taken care of and the service is top notch OK!

While the building may need some repairs and door locks do not always respond to keys in first try. All in all this place is great for the value safe and family friendly. Sure people enjoy the pool table and have fun play music but that is the point in making memories so it did not bother me to see others having fun with the pool table. Plenty of parking and rooms are safe and comfortable if you are looking for safe clean and affordable this is your place.

I would give it a 0 star if i could. Do not stay here. Read this post. It is dirty nasty place. We booked a room and the shower was dirty the microwave was dirty. When we asked for another room they claimed they were booked. This place is disgusting. We ask for toilet paper and the house lady gave us tissue. Smh Do not stay here i will be calling corporate office.

I don’t understand what the last guy wrote about this place but the manager is a very welcoming person. She spends more time at this hotel working on things that need to be done and helping her employees to do their job in the evenings. In the average I saw her 16 hours a day in the building working to ensure that all her guests have a good stay. The signs that were posted on the door reiterated what the signs on the front of the building state that guests should try to smoke 25 ft from the building in addition to asking that guests go a little further from the building with their cannabis products as some guests may complain that the smell of marijuana is getting into their rooms. Some people like me don’t like the smell of marijuana. It’s a more pungent smell definitely and it sticks to your clothes.

Samantha made my last minute booking a breeze. Price was very reasonable for a weekend. Room was clean and comfortable. I usually hate being a walk-in, but Samantha was so helpful and accommodating that she really put me at ease, setting the tone for a nice relaxing evening. Will definitely be back!

Unclean. Non-smoking room smelled like smoke, curtains were half pulled off the rod, heater didn't work, no blankets and thin bedspread. Sheets were clean but washed so many times you can see daylight through them. Staff was nice. I was put in the " nice, quiet side"...,made me wonder ehat happens elsewhere.
