It’s a poorly run group out of California, with cheap prizes, bad communication and horrible planning for the Texas Super Cup tournament.

We are ranked #8 in NTX heading into the finals, playing a team ranked #50 in NTX, but then it rained overnight. Since our field was on grass, the tournament official gave the win to the other team based on points, while other teams were able to play on a turf field. Officials explained that even though the turf fields were open after 130pm, they could not let us play due to the contract with the city. This affects our team ranking, because they’re giving the lower ranked team a 1-0 win over our team.

They ended up giving our players silver medals, which you can tell immediately they were low quality. I even compared it with other medals from previous wins and it’s very light weight and cheap.

Our game was scheduled for 9am, but we didn’t get an email about the status of our game until 8:14am that our game was cancelled due to wet conditions, after most kids had already arrived to play. Most tournaments will call a game by 6am.

This was demoralizing and unfair for our kids, especially when we have played this team before and had won. The referee had even showed up from out of town and stated this was unacceptable.

I am writing to express my concerns regarding the recent Az Academy cup tournament that my 2007 boys’ team participated in. One of my players received a red card during the event, and as per standard rules in Arizona, we are required to fill out a suspension form and have it signed by the referees to serve the suspension.

However, I discovered that your organization does not have such a process in place. When I reached out to the representative I had been dealing with since the beginning of the tournament, they assured me that the suspension had already been served during the game in which the red card was issued. I confirmed with them multiple times, through email, text messages, and conversations, that my player could play, and based on their guarantee, I allowed my boys to participate.

Despite the assurances, our game was forfeited because my player played, even though the referees were aware of the situation and had acknowledged the communication errors. This miscommunication caused a significant inconvenience and frustration for our team. It is disappointing to see the lack of proper communication and understanding of the issues at hand.

When it comes to getting payments, the organization is always prompt, but the handling of this situation was far from satisfactory. I wanted to bring this to your attention and express my dissatisfaction. Due to this experience, I will not be participating in any future tournaments organized by your group.

Our ECNL RL team has played at two of their tournaments, Phoenix cup and Tampa cup, and will never do it again. A huge money grab, nothing in it for the kids, teams from our hometown we could have played here, 3 college coaches (2 from city colleges), and the do NOT answer any messages, got our team in for wrong, posted wrong information, etc. Out team and club will not be doing rated sports tournaments again! Waste of time and money!

California company running expensive tournaments here in Arizona, charge California prices and they are poorly ran. Nothing in it for the kids, just a big scam. They don’t answer messages, nor emails or anything unless it’s about making them more money. Stay out of our state!!!

Our team had booked flights for what was supposed to be a tournament, the Vancouver cup. With less than a month before the tournament start, the organizer cancelled the event and then changed the format to a combine. We signed up for a tournament, not a combine. This organizer had zero regard for our circumstance, where families are now out of pocket for cancelling flights. This organizer has proven to be fickle and unpredictable. We will think twice before signing up for one of their events again.
