An absolutely incredible flight for my very first time and on my birthday!
Jon and his team were phenomenal. Smooth take off, peaceful and serene ride, followed by an easy landing. Jon is very knowledgeable in what he does and such a character. Certainly enjoyed the laughs today. Thank you to everyone on this crew for making today so perfect!

We had a great flight with John. We set off from the meet-up spot to the take-off area where I was able to assist with the balloon inflation process before we climbed aboard.
My son & another passenger were scared of heights therefore our flight height wasn't as high as I expected but the flight was still enjoyable travelling approximately 10miles to our landing area.
John took care to avoid obstacles (farm fencing animals and a rough landing). We did have a bumpy landing but nothing too much and we were able to climb out with ease.
We would highly recommend Rainbow Ryders as the whole team were friendly' knowledgeable and willing to have a laugh with all the passengers.

We had such a wonderful experience at Colorado Springs flying with Jon Thompson!! He made a special anniversary trip the best we could have hoped for. It was the icing on the cake! He was a skilled pilot, knowledgeable of the area, and entertaining as well. The crew was efficient and considerate of passengers. Flight was smooth , views were fantastic and we’d do it again if we have an opportunity.

I had the incredible pleasure of taking a hot air balloon ride with Rainbow Ryders in Colorado Springs, and it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. Our adventure began just after sunrise, and the views were absolutely immaculate. As we ascended, we were greeted by the sight of a herd of antelope, including some adorable baby fawns and a couple of impressive large bucks. To top it off, we even spotted a few jackrabbits from our bird's-eye view.

The weather couldn't have been more perfect for our flight. The calm and clear skies provided a stunning backdrop that only enhanced the breathtaking scenery below and the mountains beyond.

Our pilot, Greg, was nothing short of exceptional. His extensive knowledge and passion for hot air ballooning were evident from the moment we met. Greg's confidence and expertise instantly put my wife and me at ease, knowing we were in capable hands. He shared fascinating stories and educated us on the intricacies of balloon flights, making the experience both informative and entertaining. Greg's warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel appreciated and valued as customers.

The ground crew, Jeanna and Jackson, were equally impressive. They were efficient, personable, and contributed to the seamless operation of our adventure. Their professionalism and friendliness added to the overall enjoyment of the day.

This was truly an 11 out of 10 experience. I would absolutely do this again in a heartbeat; it was worth every penny. Rainbow Ryders provided a magical and unforgettable journey that we will cherish forever. Wow- what an AMAZING experience!! I am so grateful that we chose Rainbow Ryders! Jon Thompson was a great pilot, he gave us great information/education about ballooning, shared the history of ballooning, and kept us very safe! If you want great dad jokes, definitely request Jon!
I loved how peaceful and clam the ride was, so beautiful. And the champagne toast at the end was excellent!
I would definitely recommend Rainbow Ryders to anybody looking to check off your bucket list item!
