Had a perfect experience with Rainbow River Kayak Adventures! If we rent in this area again, we'll totally use them again. Dan was awesome! We have been kayaking before but Dan asked us a few questions to make sure we got the kayak models that worked best for us. He was also really good at making sure we knew the best spots to go, how long each part would take, and how to find the haul out/pick up point. His thorough preparation ensured we would have a good time and we did! We saw all kinds of river wildlife. Otters, alligators, all different species of fish, of birds, and so many turtles! We are as happy as we could be with our experience. Thank you Dan and the rest of the crew!

Rainbow River Kayak Adventures was amazing! They are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, WOW! Coming from out of town, we were looking for an easy way to go kayaking on the river and RRKA made it flawless; they do everything for you. Highly recommend, specially if you are visiting the area and are looking to make the most out of your time. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and service! My folks live in Dunnellon and kayaking the Rainbow River is one of the only things I look forward to doing everytime I visit. The water is crystal clear, there are turtles and birds everywhere. If you’re lucky you’ll spot a gator!
I will say that this trip kayaking was a little different because of the water levels post hurricanes.
This has no reflect on Rainbow River Kayak Adventures. The employees were super friendly and very quick with the shuttle at the end of the trip.

On a kid-free getaway and we rented 2 single kayaks for the best price we could find. Everything from online booking to shuttle service and communication were seamless! Staff was friendly and bus drivers were fun. Our time on the water was absolutely perfect. Saw lots of wildlife…all kinds of birds, fish, turtles, a small gator and even otters! Thank you! We will be back!

Rainbow River Kayak Adventures is a wonderful place to rent kayaks from. The kayak rental was very easy and fast. They load the kayaks for you onto the trailer on the back of the shuttle. They shuttle you on a nice air-conditioned bus to the KP Hole. When at the KP Hole expect to have your belongs checked for any alcohol and plastic. No alcohol and no disposable plastic are allowed. We paid a fee of $7pp to Kayak. Our driver unloaded the kayaks, and he helped us launch off the ramp. We paddled and floated all downstream, which was very nice to our end destination. Be sure to get the QR code that has the map address to your end ramp. I followed the red dot (end address) down the river in Google maps to guide us there. Of course, if you do this, follow the river, not the road. Finally, about 3 hrs later, we made it to the address given. You will see a house with a ramp and a sign on the dock that says Rainbow River Kayak Adventures. When we arrived, we pulled our kayaks in ourselves and called the number the shop for someone to pick us up. They arrived within 5 minutes. The driver loaded the kayaks and shuttled us back to the shop. Both drivers were very nice. Remember to tip your deivers. The shop lady was very nice and held our plastic water bottles in her fridge for us when we learned we couldn't have them. It was great having cold water when we returned. The shop was clean and welcoming. I would definitely do this again. It was a breeze. Thank you, Rainbow River Kayak Adventures, for making this experience stress-free, fun, and easy for my family.

They took us up river and dropped us off, and then they picked us up at the end. We had a great time kayaking the rainbow river and enjoyed our time for a reasonable cost.

We saw lots of animals, including an otter. We had a great time. There were fewer people on this river as silver springs were mobbed.

Oh, and don't tip your kayak if you tip anything tip the shuttle driver.

Was okay. They have a bus that delivers you to the river. The kayaks were older looking but my friends had single kayaks and said they were uncomfortable unlike my two seat kayak which had seats with a softer back support. They were very informative about drop off and pick up points which was could save the pick up point on our google maps which was very helpful. Dropping us off tho.. they miscounted the kayaks and we had to wait around for them to come back with our groups kayaks. Seemed like the owner and/or manager that day came back with the kayaks and apologized and seemed frustrated with his employees. The river itself is very relaxing and we had a fun time. On the pick up, there wasn’t enough seats for us all to go back together so they offered us to either stand inside the bus or wait. We ended up sitting our children on our laps the ride back to their business location.

The crew were professional and very helpful! They safely transported us, and provided us with great kayaks that we enjoyed on rainbow river. I highly recommend this business for your kayaking and outdoor adventures when you’re in the area!
