Ben and Quicksilver were fantastic on our trip to and from Warren Island to camp! We took 5 people, all our gear, two kayaks and a miniature dachshund on the boat and there was room to spare. Ben was on time, professional and safe - as well as being a lot of fun to ride with. We’d definitely go out on the water with him again!

We took a family vacation to Islesboro the last week in August. When we arrived I wanted to rent or charter a boat. I found that there were no rentals available but I did find this company that had different charter offerings, which was Quicksilver. I called on a Monday and talked with Ben the captain and he was very easy to chat with, I told him about our group and the ages in our group (i have two kids: ages 3 and 5) and he threw some ideas at me and we booked a trip for a sunset cruise on Thursday.
We arrived at the dock right at 5:15 and jumped on board. Capt Ben and his deckhand were fantastic. He took us all around Islesboro and shared history about the island and pointed out some cool sights. Took us to see some seals and he even let the little ones steer the boat. We went for a 2 hour ride and it was perfect for us as the kids were getting restless at the end. This was super fun, very low key and the guys were great with the kids and very easy to connect and chat with. Highly recommend Ben and Quicksilver. When we come back to Islesboro we will use them for some fun on the water!

Quicksilver picked up my daughter and granddaughters at Lincolnville promptly, after checking in with me to see how their trip up the coast was progressing and being willing to change the pickup time by an hour when they made faster progress than expected. We were all very appreciative of the great service, and the trip across the bay was special fun for our granddaughters.

Incredibly professional and prompt but most importantly, very very pleasant. Captain Ben and his service saved us in having to cancel a dream-long weekend that we've had planned for years. Given the pandemic, we weren't sure if the trip could still happen. He took the stress out of transporting our young family safely to Warren Island state park but this was after a few emails and calls. It was so refreshing to deal with another parent who had to the same thoughts and concerns we had.

We were able to pack extra gear because of the boat; which made the trip even more fun! We highly recommend using this service and plan to continue to tell others about it!

Ben was great! I was nervous about an upcoming trip and he was very quick to answer emails and any questions that I had. The logistics of the charter were made very clear.
