Booked a room in advance, got charged immediately. When we arrived at the hotel, front desk said pool is closed due to renovations. NOTHING on the website about that. Asked if I could get a full refund if we canceled and went to a hotel with a pool. It is the only reason we went to the hotel, so we could use the pool for my daughters bday. The front desk said yes, we will be happy to give you a full refund and cancel your stay due to the pool being down. Next day I called to make sure this was canceled, and it was going to get my refund. The girl said yes, we canceled, and you will receive your money in 5 business days. I said ok. Something didn't sit right with me, so i called again the next day and they said yes, it will take some time to refund, but we refunded it. 5 days pass. NOTHING in my account. Called back and asked for a manager, had to wait another 2 hours to get a manager. Told the story again and the manager said we cannot cancel, you have to call choice privileges, gave me the number to call. Called them, went through 2 people and had to tell this long story yet again for them to tell me we cant give you the full refund. You will get a check in the mail that can possibly take up to 6 weeks. So here i am, out of $118 for a room I didnt even stay at, for a promised FULL REFUND. Place is a joke and i will NEVER book through choice privileges/ quality inn in dixon IL. Waste of time and money.

The hotel is very neglected and run down. Room was filthy, from puck? on the curtains, dirty duvet, nasty toilet, stained carpet and general layer of filth. When i requested a clean duvet, the very nice, clerk did the best she could...a mattress cover and a tiny blanket. Unable to regulated heat in the room. Staff was nice, hotel is gross. Definitely way over priced, will not stay here again. There is a hilton next door getting ready to open, that would be my choice.

Do not stay here unless you want to be ripped off. We stayed in one room one night in July. When we got home, I noticed they charged us for 2 rooms. After contacting the hotel, we were able to get the second charge refunded a month later.
Now I see that they CHARGED ME AGAIN, 5 months later! Probably hoping I wouldn't notice the charge. We called the hotel and they simply refused to refund it. Now I have to dispute the charge with my credit card and change my credit card number since Quality Inn obviously can't be trusted. They kept my cc info for over 5 months and tried to scam me.

Not impressed at all. We came here a few weeks in advance to book our room because there was only 2 left of the one we wanted, and was assured it was set in stone. Got here and we were first told they dont have that room here at all ( bit was showing online until they were booked up) and then told it was taken. We booked that room so why would it have been taken by someone else? Was super upset at that point. Said it would be resolved. It wasnt at all and we had to accept the room that was given to us or go home pretty much.then handed a gift bag with pretzels and a granola bar with water in it, doesnt make up for the fact the entire situation was poorly managed completely and we had to accept what was given or leave, then told next time ask for the GM here. We shouldnt have to to make sure we got what is paid for and reserved or to male sure it is a smooth rocess for things to happen properly. Absolutely wild.. So we get up to our room that was given to us and had to accept, and there was lack of cleanliness completely. Stains all over our sheets and bedding, and floor. Was very grossed out. Disregulated room temperatures. Not enough towels etc in here. Barely warm shower water at all then goes cold. Barely any toilet paper on the roll and none elsewhere to be found in the room. When you go to the desk nobodys ever standing up there. You have to call using the phone at the desk and hit 0 for assistance up there. Key cards did not work at the pool even after getting new ones because of that. Rooms are not checked well at all, dresser was tore up, carpet unclean, things didnt seem too sanitary on numerous things. And im nervous to eat the complimentary breakfast.. very dissapointed. And to see the reviews afterwards. Wild. We will not be staying here again.

🚨🚨 I’ve seen too many businesses and people getting ripped off in the couple months I’ve been employed with this employer!!!
I just wanna warn all the people that work very hard for their money … your rooms are not cleaned correctly and somebody is going to end up getting very sick from eating their breakfast!! All food from the previous day is either put back in the fridge or refrozen. The first batch of food that is put out is not fresh.! Last week or customer reported bedbugs on their room quite a few of their rooms have black mold!

I’m not a bitter ex employee. I am somebody that is finally able to speak out to let the customers know because being behind the counter and on camera to where they watch you and listen to everything you say, and if you say the wrong thing, the owner will call you and yell at you !!

No, I didn’t steal any money that’s actually Slander!!!! Even the police said that you couldn’t arrest me😂😂😂 So keep threatening me with the police!!! I already told you I talked to People who actually has been doing your job in America And spoke to lawyers this has to do with you and the person that cashed the check that has nothing to do with me. All I did was disperse the check to the person that was on that damn check so you slandering me is actually a lawsuit.!!!!!! You have no proof of me cashing any check so one that’s a false lie!!! Maybe if you were ignorant and dumb, you wouldn’t have made the wrong check for the wrong employee!!!! And maybe you need to learn that’s the way you’re trying to do things in America. That’s not the American way!!!!!!😂😂 I did nothing wrong but disperse a check and I apologized. You took it out on me because the labor board called you the next day after you gave me a verbal warning and you’ve done nothing but belittle me and talk to me like dirt and that’s not how we do things in America.!!!! And you don’t have a witness cause the only witness you have was jesse and I even have a message of him stating that he knows that I didn’t steal the check😂😂 and I have proof of those messages of him saying that I didn’t steal a check. I gave a check to the employee who was on the check you faulted for making the wrong check, but slandering me as a lawsuit. At least I’m being honest now you’re just lying retaliation against of an employee because another employee called the labor board on. You is also against the law

This hotel has gone done hill immensely. We have stayed here four times in the last ten years and it’s not nearly as nice as it has been in the past. Management seems very unsure of what to do. Our room was missing a comforter, and was replaced with just a thin blanket. When I confronted front desk about it after a chilly nights sleep, and they said they didn’t have any more comforters and just gave me another thin blanket. I asked if they could get a comforter from another room and they said they didn’t know what rooms have comforters and which have blankets and mentioned white comforters are hard to keep clean. Our shower does not get hot, the shower head is very low (at 5’7” the head is lower than my face), and the tub plug is missing so our young kids can’t take baths. Front desk seems to be battling keeping towels clean as they seem worried when you ask for more, and pool towels are rarely restocked. Overall the hotel is host showing its age. I asked for a refund so we can leave and go somewhere else tonight but no one has contacted me as of yet. We will be staying at the new Tru By Hilton next door or the other new hotel being built across the street going forward.

Positive: The staff Negative: I specifically called to make sure pool was open. Checked in late Fri night George ky daughters bday.? the pool was closed so we booked a jacuzzi suite and it was not clean. The breakfast was terrible. The side doors did not work.

This hotel is infested with BED BUGS! Do not stay there. Several rooms in our group all got itchy red bites all over their bodies while sleeping. Gross! Not just one room either. That hotel has a major problem and you can bring home the bed bugs in your luggage and then have the problem in your house. AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!
