Kristina and her team were incredible to work with for our Kennebunkport, ME wedding in June of 2024, and I couldn't recommend them enough. Having seen friends go through wedding planning, I expected the process to be laborious and stressful. But working with Kristina made the entire journey smooth from the beginning, all the way through our day. Let me start with planning. From the very beginning, it was clear that Kristina was an excellent communicator, had exactly the expertise we needed, and we genuinely enjoyed our calls with her. She helped narrow in on what mattered to us as a couple, while also making sure things that would matter to the overall execution (that I wouldn't ever have thought of) never got lost. Kristina had the perfect recommendations for other vendors - the selections she suggested that we chose from were part of the puzzle not just in the planning process, but in how smoothly our wedding weekend went. She helped curate a team of experts in what they do from photography to music and we could very much feel that expertise in our conversations with those vendors and how they delivered at the wedding. There were so many times where Kristina saved us from ourselves. For instance, at one point I pondered if, there was no rain in the forecast, could we skip a tent at our venue? Kristina kindly let me know that those tentless dinners you see on Pinterest are not in Maine, they are in California - and she was RIGHT. We needed that tent, and it was perfect. Our wedding weekend couldn't have gone better - it was beyond what we could have imagined in the experience for ourselves and for our guests. Kristina and the team's handling of everything made it truly the best time we've ever had. Our friends and family cannot stop raving about how epic the wedding was, and I'll forever be SO happy we got to work with the Purple Orchid team. We hired Kristina for our coastal Maine wedding of about 120 people, and we cannot recommend her enough! She is professional and at the same time warm, and kind, which put us immediately at ease. Additionally, Kristina has many connections to amazing Maine vendors, and was able to work with them all behind the scenes to make sure that every detail was in place for our big day. She makes herself very available to her clients and is a great listener and planner. Not only that but she even converted our outdoor ceremony into our indoor rain plan in under four hours, and it turned out beautifully! Thank you Kristina!!

We hired Kristina 2 months leading up to our wedding at Camp Takajo on Long Lake in Maine. She helped us finalize all the planning and was indispensable the weekend of our wedding. Simply the best!!! I would give 10 stars if I could!! We knew from our first call with Kristina that she was The One to help us coordinate our perfect wedding. She has a very calm and no-nonsense demeanor that cuts through all the wedding planning craziness and kept us focused on what needed doing. She was always available to problem solve or to come up with creative ideas for what we were working on. When the pandemic unexpectedly arrived a few weeks before our original wedding date she guided us effortlessly through no less than 3 postponements, navigating a large vendor team and three days of events to reschedule with ease, and then was with us through the repeated re-envisionings of our wedding as the rules and restrictions changed. We truly felt like we were in it together and that she was authentically invested in the success of our wedding. When we were finally - 3 YEARS (!) after booking her - able to go forward with our wedding, it couldn’t have gone better. Kristina (& her team) showed up with a detailed binder with step by step instructions and a timeline for our wedding weekend. Everything was set up perfectly, and she successfully navigated a minor wind storm for our guests at our welcome dinner. On our wedding day, Kristina was our #1 fan and also our first line of defense: she protected us to ensure that we never felt rushed but also that we did everything we wanted to do (like finish photos early so we could join cocktail hour). We were able to actually eat our wedding meal, and still get the photos we wanted and talk to all our guests. Our much-awaited weekend was literally perfect, all thanks to Kristina!!

Our wedding coordinator, Catie, was with us every step of the way, answering any questions we had and offering invaluable advice. Hosting a wedding on an island is not easy, but it was everything we dreamed of thanks to Purple Orchid. We hired Purple Orchid for the day of coordinator services, and loved how we had the opportunity to connect with Catie a couple of times before the big day, and were provided incredibly helpful checklists and planning documents to ensure we did not forget anything. Kristina and her team (Katherine & Jarron) were amazing! I think my laid back personality frightened Kristina at first as I'm a super procrastinator, but she helped make sure all tasks were complete before the wedding. They made sure my day went smoothly. Zach and I were not bothered with anything the day-of and had the best day of our lives. Jarron cleaned up as much as possible making the clean-up the following day super easy.
