Great location. Downtown grocery store is just around the corner. Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything you would expect from a small town motel. Also, there is a laundromat right across the lower parking lot which makes it very convenient for longer stays or sport fishermen who don’t want to travel with fish-smelling clothes.

It has been many years since we stayed at the Prince William. The first thing my husband noticed was the flat screen tv. With 99 channels he was thrilled! I noticed how absolutely clean it it was and how comfortable the beds were. It had everything we needed. Brand new refrigerator with freezer, microwave, stove, coffee pot in the room, iron and ironing board. Double pane windows to keep the cold out and plenty of hot water and great water pressure in the shower. The bathroom even had a vanity mirror with magnifer to apply makeup!!! You can't beat the location, right uptown and walking distance to everything. The staff was very friendly. We will surely stay here again when we come back to visit Cordova!

Good location, in the center of town and quite close to everything. It's a basic affair, with the average services you may expect (coffee making, cableTV, free WiFi), except for the room daily cleaning, which is close to null. Front desk attendant was not very talkative, so we didn't get much information except by very specific questioning. Warning: the announced coin operated laundry is an externally managed business, and closes quite early in the evenings, so don't expect to use it when you come back from your daily trecks.

Had very cold showers in the morning, the maid services were minimal at best (only took out the trash & made beds, no new linens, no new towels, nothing cleaned.) There was a decent kitchenette in the room, wifi access was good & television came in fine. Front desk personnel were friendly.

We stayed in a room with a kitchen. Decor is dark, very old fashioned and somewhat depressing - not a great idea for rain-soaked Cordova. View are all to a non-descript street. The room is full with posted warnings (don't steal the towels or warp fish in them...) and front desk not particularly friendly. Cleanliness is OK. If you do intend to cook in your room then there are full facilities and they do provide on request a box with complete dishes/cookware. The Orca Advernture Lodge (if you have a car) or the Reluctant Fisherman are probably better choices.

The hotel is quaint and in the middle of most the shops and restaurants. In comparison to the other places to stay it is cheap, especially in the summer. If staying a night it isn't bad, I wouldn't recommend staying more then a night or two. The bar downstairs can also be loud, had some drunk people outside my room at 2 am. Staff are extremely helpful and will answer any questions you may have, or if you get locked out of your room (like i did).

There is nothing upmarket about this motel, but the rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. There were two suitcase racks which is always a plus. There was a kitchenette, but no crockery, cutlery or pots. A hairdrier was available on request. The staff were friendly and helpful.

That title doesn't sound flattering, but I've been to 11 different towns in Alaska on business, and many, many of them would be "lousy" in the lower 48. That's life in Alaska - roughing it is expected, and part of the charm - it ISN'T fancy, but the rooms here are clean, they have kitchens, comfortable beds, very good internet connectivity, and pretty spacious rooms. They're very comfortable; I was pleasantly surprised, and I WOULD stay here again. There are several restaurants in immediate walking distance; honestly, in this small town, virtually everything is in walking distance, though... Lol... Seriously, this is a pretty above-average hotel for Alaska. The people are friendly and the heat works really well... The kitchens have no plates, bowls, utensils or cookware, so come prepared, if you want to use the kitchen. Only $95 per night was good value, too. One negative - the walls are pretty thin, you can hear conversations pretty clearly from the next room.
