My coworker recommended Platinum Entertainment for my wedding, because she had a great experience with them at her own wedding. After much research, I found they had the best prices around. Tom was very easy to contact and responded quickly every time to any questions I had. He is very friendly and professional. The event planner form on the website makes the process of finding your special songs much easier to organize.
The day of the wedding, we were very impressed! Tom was very accommodating, setting up outside for our ceremony, and inside on the ballroom dance floor. The uplighting was beautiful and the photo booth was so much fun (and he gives you a book with a copy of all the photo booth pictures!). His song selections were great, people were dancing all night long, which was the most important thing to us in our wedding - making it a party. He also took charge to remind people to sign our guest book, he guided the night by making sure everything went smoothly - from introductions, to the first dance, to toasts. He even included and lead a really fun newlywed shoe game that was hilarious!
Working with Tom was a pleasure. He was great at managing the transitions between each part/event in the party. I highly recommend contacting Platinum Entertainment for your wedding or event. Definitely opt for the uplighting - it was a beautiful added touch!

Great service for our event since 2015!! The music is spot-on for the audience, keeping the dance floor active throughout the night. We couldn't ask for more. Tommy is great to work with, providing music and entertainment for the graduating seniors during the annual overnight event. The photo booth has a wide variety of props to increase the fun.

My husband and I used Platinum Entertainment for our wedding on September 3, 2017. After doing some research we picked them because they had great reviews and the email with Tom were very personable. Platinum Entertainment did not disappoint. They were great to work with and made our night even better. The dance floor was packed the entire night and in the phone call conference a couple of days before the wedding Tom really seemed interested in making sure our night was perfect. I completely forgot about the bouquet toss and Tom pulled me aside to remind me about it so I wouldn't miss the opportunity. They are very detailed oriented and he had everything all planned out in his notes(Including the pronunciations for our bridal parties names). Would recommend to anyone and I'm so glad we used Platinum Entertainment to DJ our wedding!

Tom was the DJ for our wedding and we could not be happier with our experience. He provided us with online planning and request tools to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted and what we were looking for, and he was such a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. He was incredibly courteous to the coordinators at our venue and worked so well with them to provide the sound and music for our ceremony and reception. He was super flexible with changes that were made throughout the day and EVERYONE was telling us how much they loved his song choices! He kept our guests dancing all night despite the heat, and sent us off with a wonderful last dance for our guests to join us for. I ALWAYS recommend Tommy Hawkins when I hear of anyone looking for a DJ!

I have been to many events with him. First as a chaperone at the local school dances. These dances actually sold out, and they had a capacity of 200 kids!

Secondly, I am a wedding photographer, and have worked many weddings with Tommy. He is honestly the best DJ I have worked with. He is professional but fun. He keeps the event flowing seamlessly, with a great sound system that just makes you want to dance. Needless to say, the dance floor is always full. Tommy also goes all out to create photo ops! I have many great shots thanks to him! Whether it is tricking everyone into getting on the dance floor for a group shot (with the intention of making them stay there and dance), getting everyone to look up to the balcony for an overhead shot, making the centerpiece winners get on stage for a "chorus line", or even doing a "soul train", Tommy is the best at creating a memorable event!

Obviously, when it came time for my daughter's Sweet Sixteen we hired him. He worked his usual magic and we had an unforgettable night!

I can't say enough. You can't go wrong with Tommy 🙂
