My husband and I worked with Planning Collective for Partial Planning and Day of Coordination for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the service that we received. Kate, the founder of Planning Collective, was so professional, organized, and attentive to detail. She was always available to answer our questions and provide guidance throughout the wedding planning process. On the day of the wedding, Kate ensured that everything ran smoothly and according to plan. She answered questions from parents of the bride/groom, vendors, and wedding party members throughout the whole day. We were able to relax and enjoy our special day knowing that everything was taken care of.

Kate was really helpful the months leading up to the wedding when we worked with her for Partial Planning, and definitely throughout the whole day for Day of Coordination - but there are two particular moments I wanted to highlight because we truly could not have made it through (sanely and happily, anyways) without her.

First highlight: The morning of the wedding, the bridal suite was a little chaotic with all of the bridesmaids, mother of bride, mother of groom, and vendor team all running around in a small area to get ready. There were constant knocks on the door with new vendors showing up (food delivery, photographer arriving, videographer arriving, flowers being delivered, makeup artists and hair stylists arriving, content creators arriving, etc), bridal party members or MOB/MOG were asking me (the bride) a bunch of questions, and we needed to make sure we were staying on schedule. It was chaotic - It's just the nature a large group getting ready the morning of your wedding. Kate stepped in and took all the weight off my shoulders - She communicated with the vendors and wedding party members, and made sure we stayed on schedule. She organized when to do the "first looks" and made sure that the groom, father of bride, and wedding party were all where they needed to be at the right times. I was able to focus on myself and breath easy knowing she has everything else under control.

Second highlight: After the introduction of the bride and groom at the reception, we sat down, did speeches, and then ate dinner. I had so much adrenaline from the whole day and the beginning of the reception, and then tried to eat dinner super fast so my husband and I could go say hi to the older guests that we thought might leave shortly after. Well, because of that, I ended up not feeling well (at all) for about 45 minutes and we had to (on the spot) rework the whole reception schedule of events that was previously solidified. Oh my goodness, Kate SAVED the day here! She bounced around and communicated with all of the vendors we hired and the staff at the reception venue to let them know what was going on. Our wedding guests had no idea there was any interruption and we were able to fit all of the reception events in. The reception ended up working out perfectly, and we completely attribute that to Kate. My parents and (now) in-laws kept remarking how awesome and helpful Kate was, to which we responded, "oh, you have no idea!"

My husband and I feel lucky to have ended up being so pleased with all of our wedding vendors - But hiring Kate was hands-down the best decision we made for our wedding day. I highly recommend Planning Collective to anyone looking for a stress-free and enjoyable wedding experience!
